  1. http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/autologon.htm just look at the registry entry part and adapt to yours.
  2. supoosedly up to 1000 or more. But like mention, a scratch will ruin the disc far before you reach the 1000. A scratch will probally be made by a dust particle in the burn when burning.
  3. yes....yes we can Then there are some where there just aren't switches....those are a pain.
  4. the folder isn't ignored, just not copied. If cmdlines.txt is in there, then it will run. Just like svcpack.inf. If there is something in there, they will run. Good thing I don't copy anything over
  5. is the dat files in the root fo the structure or in your CDShell folder? try moving them to your root folder.
  6. multi. that's what mine uses. but the VMware uses an Uni, so I had to take that into account on my CDs.
  7. 5 languages? the worst part is that I understood all of them. Some words trip me up (not completely fluent, can't really speak the languages, but can read em) but I'm learning German as my girlfriend's family all speak german, and I have the feeling when ever they speak in German, they're talkin about me
  8. at the end of the batch file.....call..... rundll32.exe iernonce.dll,RunOnceExProcess
  9. do you get the error when you enter CDShell or when you tell it to boot an dat file? are the dat files in your root folder or in the same folder as CDShell. They should be in the root of your CD structure not int he CDShell folder.
  10. never had, my only guesses are that the file my be corrupt.....try and get a fresh copy from a workin CD. for somereason, the entry regard the file is missing from EITHER txtsetup.sif or dosnet.inf (most likely dosnet.inf) or.....the file shouldn't be compressed. (Mind you this is just the top of my head)
  11. i was wondering why i couldn't get to the site for awhile. lol. I'm sure **** won't have many legal issues. That's all they say on their site, and you wouldn't be direcly linking.as for winamp.....only one way to find out
  12. i personally prefer gamehead's Idea of if you post in another language, also post in english. Though english may not be the only language, it is typically the common ground between them all.
  13. um.... everyone is pointing out the flaw in his syntax, but he very clearly states that it works outside of RunOnceEX when he runs it normally.
  14. all I know is, why I haven't posted on this till now. You have yet to do an adequate search of this forum. Please do so. Broadan the search past 30 days.
  15. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=11491
  16. you can neither scrool or make two boxes/columns. you can set a variable for like 20 apps, it puts in the first 20 apps in registry, then restarts, final thing on that one imports the next 20, restarts, and so on till your down. You could also optionally use XPlode, but it will break your program. As it used XML and not registry entries.
  17. yay! time to update the CD
  18. you want the EXIT. why don't you do a search for the way the WinZIP's websites says to do a silent install? you may also wish to remove your Serial Number from the regtweaks when posting. http://www.winzip.com/xsiteins.htm
  19. before I was a member, I was able to search just fine.....but that was a few months ago.
  20. really doesn't matter what version as long as it's the SP1 kernel. The only difference is that the older one isn't going to have the lastest updates to it. Mine is 1151 if it really matters for you.
  21. hey...."s*** just happens sometimes"
  22. make it yourself? that always seems to work.... look in the customizing thread for more details, and near the endish area. Be careful though, if you have a Hyperthreaded process, as it requires the Multiprocessor kernal ntkrnlmp.exe (it's renamed to ntoskrnl.exe during installation) or the Single Processor kernel ntoskrnl.exe .
  23. wierd..... it could be that the kernel is edited on the fly. Are you testing in VMWare? or the like. It sounds liek either the Kernel got corrupt or your using the wrong one. There are two for SP1, well technically MANY with different build numbers, but there are two types. Perhaps you're using the wrong one. And yes, I kno you said you got it from a computer that it did work on.....but still.....
  24. by SEARCHING!!! geeeze, I KNOW i've seen this half a dozen times, and I've linked it from somethign i got FROM A SEARCH
  25. I believe he meant the Unattend XP CD Guide. unattended.msfn.org
