XPize patches several dozen bitmaps, icons and avi files it makes over all of the "leftover" bits from windows 2000. How long did you use XP before it was XPized? There are a great many differences. All of the avi's to afaik have been changed and the interface as a whole has a much more pleasing look to the eye. Saying XPize is simply a theme is like saying XP is simply a service pack of windows 2000. Simply compare the differences in these 2 pics and you will see a portion of what xpize does.

Once you run XPize and patch your uxtheme file you can use any of the many thousands of windows themes out there. (Not windowsblinds themes though) Here is a nice royale based theme that comes in 5 colors and has compact start menus. http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/8521744/

One thing I see right off is the fact that you have all of those asterisks (*) what is the purpose of those? Also when it skips an entry this is usually a signal some thing is wrong with the config entry. Please try renaming all of the entries that contain spaces.

Which version of WPI are you using?

Download one of the many WGA (Legit packs) that are floating around and install it on the pc that does not have net access.

OK Xpero here goes: Can you make the mods integratable? Can you add msgina.dll back to the 386 proccess? (If it was taken out for a reason please tell me) Can you add selectable choices to the 386 patching option? So we can deselect things like winntbbu and such.

The "Show source" option is basically what you are looking for it will tell you what WPI is doing and plans on doing when you press begin...

When it goes final ofcourse it should be XPized.

You can set the cursors and then save your theme as Luna.theme and then rename it to luna.the and cab it then simply place the resulting luna.th_ file into your I386 folder overwriting the original.

If I understand you correctly you need more space between the last entry an the new category, right? If that is what you are looking for try looking in the WPI.css file in your themes folder. .category { font-family: tahoma; font-weight: bold; color : #FFFFFF; font-size : 10pt; margin-left: 10px; margin-right: 10px; margin-top: 12px; margin-bottom: 0px; <---- HERE } As you can see the margins are very easy to change so please give these a try.

I would look for another file in the installation folder than the exe. Maybe the help file or the readme. something that is in a normal install and doesn't have spaces in the name...

I do. Actually I don't have MS SA but I do have a valid 2003 license, MS beta access and MSDN access. Plus I have the latest TechNet set. I have used and tried the XP conversion pack but for my personal sytem I went back to XP (Which I have a valid VLM for). You would be suprised at how many of us have legit software yet still hack the crap outta them like this...
