  1. I know you can go in through display settings, select appearance, and select advanced to change the active title bar size, but is there a registry key to do this?

    Extra Tweaks

Heres some things I am looking to add to my windows installation CD. If anyone has already tackled the registry tweak for this, or knows how it will save me some searching: Set Desktop to Auto Arrange Set My Computer as first icon (And arrange Icons My Computer, My Documents, My Network Places, Recycle Bin, Internet Explorer - to get really picky) In Display Properties, Appearance, Advanced - set Active Title Bar to size of 20 Close/Remove the language bar Turn off Firewall/Automatic Updates/Virus alerts Remove Windows Catalog & Programm Access from Start Menu Thanks for any help...
  3. I noticed that some of the options during nlite setup (the only thing I can name off the top of my head right now is the Windows Catalog and the Access & Permissions start menu items) still show up on the start menu after install. Also, is it possible to add some options into the setup, like: Display options, Appearance, Advanced, Active Title Bar Size...give the option to change that Also to set IE to not use Large Icons?
  4. I have my XP CD (among other things) checked on "blank password" for administrator, but durign the actual installation, when it shows the screen for computer name, and administrator password it has 1 character in each password, and confirm password boxes. I always clear it out anyway, but I am just wondering if i have it checked for blank password in nlite, why does it still put 1 character in the box during setup?
  5. OK wow I must have mixed these CDs up a long time ago. I made a copy of my geniuine XP PRo SP2 CD and I thought thats what I have been using this whole time!! Oops. Let me try my REAL genuine CD and see what happens...
  6. OK so it seems anything passed version 1.2.1 is giving me this dreaded nhelper error. I am now on the 1.4 beta, I created a new session from scratch this time (attached) and I am still getting the error. I'm not exactly sure how to fix this problem, as I have tried everything I can think of. I also cant seem to remove the errors from windows once it is installed, so to date any discs I make after 1.2.1 are useless due to the nhelper. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 7. OK so instead of making suggestions on how I could better install windows, or test my installation CD, has anyone found a fix for this problem? I have tried 1.3 RC2 and it is still giving the same error. I rebuilt my session file from scratch (or didnt load one) and I reloaded and reselected all of my options. No luck, still getting this error. I am stuck using an olllldddd version of nlite. Can no one determine what this problem is coming from?!!

    nhelper error

I have made at least 8 different CDs trying to fix this problem, but it won't go away. Before I upgraded from 1.0.1 I didnt have this problem. Every time, I use slightly different options to try and figure out what is causing this error. After windows installs completely, and right after the welcome screen I am getting this error. Has anyone else encountered it? Is there a fix yet? It is very frustrating, and I cant get rid of it. I have attached my last session file. Please advise. Last_Session.ini
