  1. OK the theory here is actually VERY simple. In all actuallity the process is exactly the same. Place the WPI folder the root. then put the $oem$ folder at the root also, Win2000, XP and 2003 will all use this $oem$-cmdlines the same. That way you only need 1 set of files for all those OS's and their variations. As for Windows Vista and 7 Each one would need a setupcomplete.cmd at the location of: ...\Sources\$oem$\$$\setup\scripts (VERY Small file) You can get this from the downloads section. NOW that WPI is at 1 central location and all the OS's have the proper start files you can decide if you want to use the Multi-defs or the switches to use a special WPI setup for each OS without the need for several WPI folders
  2. Really depends on all the OS's on the disk. Actually it is really simple todo I just need a pic of the disk layout so I can wrap my head around your setup.
  3. Hahahah I like Format C: /Q better...
  4. Wazer= #1 WPI can set the volume of windows via the audio player tab. (I believe it does this globally, not just for WMP) #2 Thats why there is a "Default" option. It will set it as told by windows and your system what is the best defualt for your setup. I always use the Resolution and Color Depth section but I NEVER set the refresh rate with it... #3 It used to be that way but the way it was made it so people kept screwing up and not saving their settings. This way you have the option to either back-out and not save settings or to save settings and then backout. (Maybe mritter can make the suggestion of yours an option, But don't quote me.) #4 cscript.exe is in windows 2000\sp4 and above. As WPI no longer supports The "Legacy" OS's we will not add it. (For older os's please see WPI Classic and add it in as a filecopy option.)
  5. He says NOTHING about sharing the internet...
  6. Please have some decorum...
  7. Yes you can. Remember though vLite is not for buisness or corporation uses. With that being said you'll be just fine. Remember to test your iso out in a virtual machine before actually using it though.
  8. It has to be when or how you are using it. I have used it literally hundreds of times, since the beginning. I have had very little problems with it. Of course if you are adding the wrong hotfixes or have them in the wrong order then you will get problems. Remember nLite is smart but is not in-fallable. It is SUPER easy to hose an install by adding 1 wrong hotfix or having 1 out of order. It would be ALOT easier on all of us if you could tell us AT LEAST what all hotfixes you are adding and in what order.
  9. You "might" want to do your research a bit more. WMP11 Slipstreamer, when added with nLite or when used alone will properly add all hotfixes and everything in one stretch. Your information is mis-gotten, there are better ways. http://www.boooggy.org/slipstreamer/
  10. This is for use with all versions of Windows Vista, Server 2008 and Windows 7! To make use of this archive all you need to do is unRAR it and place the Sources folder at the root of your CD. http://www.wpiw.net/downloads/sources.rar Contents of the Sources archive: setupcomplete.cmd (This needs to be several folders deep so I preset the folders for you)
  11. Yes I have read of this before...
  12. Run sytem restore from safe mode.
  13. Open winnt.sif with notepad (Its in your i386 dir) look for the section [userdata] add this to the bottom: ComputerName=* (Yes there is an asterix there, that will use a random compname.) Then save it and your done.
  14. [UserData] ProductKey=*****-*****-*****-*****-***** FullName="Kelsenellenelvian" OrgName="KelCorp" ComputerName=* Add the line ---> ComputerName=* <----
  15. Your domain may include: Letters Numbers Hyphens (must be in the middle, cannot begin or end your domain name) Your domain may not include: Spaces Special characters, such as ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) ? More than 63 characters total (some places do allow a few more than this
  16. http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?sho...20555&st=60 SmartDriiver Backup v2.12 <--- I have had alot of luck with this utility! (Especially with printers...)
  17. I would definatly go for the first option.
  18. OK coupla of things wrong here (I have had the same VLK since just after XP was released) Yes, VLK will prompt for the key during setup. NO you cannot skip this step with SP3 integrated. (Thats only for retail versions) We need to kindly see your winnt.sif answer file that nLite generated. It will be in your I386 folder on the disk, please repkace your serial wih all X's... Also are you sure your serial is still good? They blacklisted a whole bunch of serials in each service pack.
  19. I think you maybe can`t understand german, so this is the conclusion: "There`s no way to reinstall or reenable Modem-Support, if it`s deleted with nLite."
  20. mritter is actually working on this....
  21. You cannot upgrade to SP2... Once vLited SP2 gets broken.
  22. He hasn't been seen in nearly a year... Seem to be pretty dead (The project that is) to me.
  23. You didn't provide ANY actual info just a one line false statement... Where is the source to you info? What does it look for and warn about? I have several aquantances that use nod32 and a crack for it, plus ALOT of other pirated material. They have never gotten warned or busted. Myself I got popped, but NOT from any source like Nod32... It was from my ISP...
  24. Yes and MS goons are at your door now... :D :D OMG
