  1. Glad to hear everything from the DIY build went great... I too built my first DIY machine a few months ago and am quite happy. No more Dell's ever! Hope all continues to go well for both of us.
  2. I would recommend L0phtCrack 5.0. If the PW is SYSKEY encrypted it is my understanding thet you're basically screwed.
  3. LOL... I was hoping it would be C
  4. I'm with jondercik... I don't belive it's possible. Only simultaneous connections I know of are networks... aka server... One port for internet... one for LAN. But who knows... there may be a way I've never heard of it though.
  5. Are the drivers for your video card up to date? As far as temperature monitoring, I would first check your MB drivers disk to see if there are any utilities specific to your MB.... and then get SpeedFan as well as motherboard monitor.
  6. Just as a follow up I ended up getting the Zalman 9500 and I love it! Using it with AS5 it dropped my temps 10C at load and around 5C on average idle! I'm now running at 38/52 idle load. And that's OC'd to 4.1GHz Here's some pics of the installation if anyone cares Zalman & MB Closeup Closeup On Zalman & Case
  7. That's a good point thanks.... plus I can just throw 'online' at the end of what I want and have it be .com. Any other ideas welcome... thanks.
  8. Thanks for the reply RougeSpear. So you're saying that I should have no problem having a .org domain name that will generate revenue?
  9. Hmmm... alright thanks for all the info.
  10. So if I'll be making money from the site I can't legally have the .org domain name? The .com eqivalent of what I want is taken. Also, about the Dreamhost... when I goto the site name I want @ .org it says I can buy it from GoDaddy... are they a good hosting company?
  11. I'm looking into buying a .org domain name to create a web site which will be mostly used for advertisement for weddings in the beginning. Reverend services and such, but at some point I would also like to incorporate another business avenues which will be used for online profit and not just as advertisement. Is it 'legal' to have a .org domain name that will produce revenue as well as be used for other on profit advertisements? Thanks for any help.
  12. I too seem to also have this problem. Using Nero 7 on a p5wd2-p w/ a plextor PX-740A. Every audio CD I burn skips at random places during each song..
  13. Wow... I guess I just hadn't looked into mbm enough, thanks. And yeah yeah yeah... 67MHz I'm at 38/48 idle/load and will probably push higher soon... btw, is mbm the only app you know of with this function?
  14. Well I mainly want it because of curiousity. First of all I have a p4 650 OC'd to 4.1 GHz on a Zalman 9500 w/ AS5, ASUS P5WD2-P board with winbond sensors to read all kinds of temps, voltages and fan speeds. I use SpeedFan and mbm mostly, but just would like to have a log over time of CPU temps at load. I do a lot of distributed computing such as seti@home and others and am usually maxed and would like to keep a log of my temps.
  15. As the topic states... looking for an app that records CPU temps over time, like days, weeks... peaks and lows. Any help would be appriciated.
  16. Yeah... should have read the full post first.. I suggested Trillian... sry.
  17. @ POW!! I used to work at a Dell laptop repair place doing this kind of work all the time. If you can't find what you're loking for from Dell or its to much of a hassle check at cameronelectronics.com. I looked and there's nothing listed under the LCD Cables link... just email them and tell them which model you're looking for I'm sure they've got it.
  18. Picked up a 100 pack of the 4" zip ties at Fry's and wow... what a difference. Was on the hunt for a new heat sink/fan as well while I was there but couldn't quite find near the selection of newegg!
  19. Hmm.... Wow, didn't even know this one existed! Thanks for the link I'll check it out.
  20. Oh so you're just alking about good ol zip ties. That was my first idea on what to use, but then I see all these cases with big 'tubes' or a conduit so to speak with a group of wires in it making it look uniform, that looks good. But oh hell yeah, zip ties will work too lol.
  21. Which hundred pack would you be referring to? Because I have the same cabling nightmare inside of my box as well. I like the look of boxes like yours where all the cables are in their own "housing".
  22. I've seen this before on this model... my solution was a new video cable. Most likely I'd bet its either the backlight, inverter or the cable.
  23. @LLXX - Thanks for the reply. I was worried about the weight of the thing too, from reading a lot of reviews apparently some people have had to connect a string to the top of their case (if case is standing) to be able to handle the weight. Guess it would have helped if I had included my MB in the specs, sry. Which smaller HS/F would you recommend if to keep me cool with my specs? I would also like to OC as well, so I'll need something that can handle the extra heat.
