  1. Use regshot to make snapshots of your registry before and after and then compare it and find the registry key Windows XP Security Center makes. Then make a reg file.
  2. AntonP this is known already. You should have used search before posting. This is known already plus all inno setup use these switches btw. I know you were trying to help but again look before you post.
  3. @mrmr thanks for using my package. That's why I made it because you can't silently install foobar2000 normally without going through alot of trouble and commands.
  4. @mrmr, you have two options. One you can try my Autoit Script which automatically selects everything in the association window and closes it (its attached below) or you can download sleep.exe from unattended.msfn.org and put sleep xx in between foobar2000_0.8.3.exe and your taskkill command. xx = amount of seconds. For my foobar2000 script look here. It should be on the first or second page of the thread. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=20197
  5. Another solution try my Autoit Script. I made a script for this a while ago. Check here. Should be on Page 1 or 2 http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=20197
  6. Nice work evilvoice. I was wondering when someone would come up with a way to do this.
  7. Put files in WinMX directory into a winrar sfx file. If I see interest, I will make a inno setup which can be silently installed easily.
  8. @CypherBit I'm glad to hear it. I figured I had it fixed this time around.
  9. @mrmr Correct you can definitely do that. I'm glad I could help.
  10. try making winrar sfx file and putting the files you wanna extract in the sfx file.
  11. @mrmr Yes that's the way u can do it in runonceex. I understand about space by the way. @war59312 Thanks for ur motivating comments. Its because of msfn members like you, that I keep maintaining this installer. @cypherbit I think I fixed the problem u are having with the installer. Im uploading a newer revision of 0.1p that should fix ur problems. (I'll update the first post when its uploaded) Thanks for the feedback.
  12. @CypherBit I will try and see what's wrong with my installer.
  13. @mrmr Yes you can achieve an unattended install with the normal installer. If had time and the resources, I would make different installers (normal, lite, etc.) Sorry that my installer doesn't meet your needs. foobar2000.exe /S TASKKILL /F /IM fooassoc.exe or make an winrar sfx from the foobar2000 directory.
  14. @CypherBit, skybl4ck. I'm sorry you guys are having problems. I only have one computer to test on so its hard to me to diagnostic problems.
  15. @CypherBit /LOADINF="fb2k.inf" You gotta tell where the file is. It should be like so. /LOADINF="C:\fb2k.inf" @mrmr use the normal installer of foobar2000.org. My installer doesn't have the purpose of being small but customized.
  16. Yea sorry guys. I've been kindy busy with real life stuff. I'm going to upload tonight or tomorrow morning. I'm confused on why the scheduler plugin is failing. Oh well. Cyberbit, you can customize the install thats why I made it with inno setup.
  17. Thats a good one. No one else has reported that problem and I don't have the problem when I run foobar2000. Try uninstalling and reinstalling. If doesn't work try the newest version of my installer. I'm currently uploading that.
  18. prathapml I have you tried using the method used with SAV9 to patch the original msi?
  19. @koden, xvid setup is inno setup. /VERYSILENT /SP-
  20. Everytime soundforge is installed it creates a hardware key based on ur computer's configuration. You need the correct registration key to coincide with the hardware key. Because both change, you can't just import your current key to the registry during an unattended installation and expect it to work.
  21. I agree with big_gie. The only time the exe is modified is if you do it. The installer does no such thing newbie4ever. The only reason why a modified exe is used is because it can't be registered without a legal key. You still must obtain the retail version even when you buy the software because the company has a whitelist of every person that has registered the software and incorporates this list into the exe. This list is updated within the exe when a person purchases a key. Your key won't work with the trial until you are put in their whitelist.
  22. I agree Jito463. Thats why its different. I mentioned earlier look for "ZsHqcOdc"=" in the registry. That should be the same.
  23. Its ok. I will update the installer with columns ui in a day or so anyway. Just be patient with me.
  24. roswell read first post in this thread.
  25. Don't remember the thread I saw it in. I will look for it and let you know.
