  1. well guys you can keep voting if ya want but I've decided to remove the encoders but links to websites that have them will be part of the installer. Thanks for everyone's feedback.
  2. It would help people to know what installer it uses and/or where to download it.
  3. @gon freecs That's what I am thinking about doing. Thanks for your input.
  4. I can confirm what vcBlackBox said. Doing this way does in fact work. Thanks alot vcBlackbox.
  5. Yea it is a weird installer kurt476, you might have to make an autoit script for it.
  6. @r0sWell columns_ui is included.
  7. @mrmr An sfx is not clean way of installing foobar2000. two installers is not the answer. I'm asking if put really need the encoders or not. If not then I will remove them.
  8. good find astalavista but I personally don't need it. I already knew about this and made an installer using inno setup a while ago and it works fine. Hope someone else (a noob possibly) can put this to use.
  9. I'm making this poll in an attempt to try and make this installer smaller than it is. I want to see what people want. People who use my foobar2000 inno setup please respond and let me know. Later.
  10. what installer does it use?
  11. no prob kurt476.
  12. @kurt476 you should use search to find things first instead of posting a new topic. This has been discussed before. TuneUp Utilities uses windows installer so the switches I recommend is /qn REBOOT=ReallySuppress or /qb REBOOT=ReallySuppress.
  13. use k-lite codec pack like I said. It has all of the codecs you mentioned above. Its easier and less work
  14. Get AutoIt Here and autoit used to make scripts to automate keystrokes, etc. Simple to vbscript but easier to learn.
  15. kurt476 give people time to post and help ya. I don't think silently register Dr. Divx as far as I know. I could be wrong. I'll wait for someone else's input.
  16. in order to find out about installers run the setup, find the name of each installer and someone could help you better. Better yet use k-lite codec pack which has all of those codecs in one setup file and uses inno setup which can be easily silently installed.
  17. uses inno setup switches /SILENT /SP- or /VERYSILENT /SP- or another method at that thread. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=13132&hl=avast
  18. Yea I heard about that kurt476. I will be glad to repackage winmx for ya when the new version comes out. I use WinMX too so I interested in the new version also.
  19. I will pm you a link to my winmx installer kurt476 instead of posting it. If anyone else wants it, they will have to arrange something with me.
  20. ok kurt476 I'll make ya one.
  21. diesel you are wrong. /qb can only be used on windows installer setup files and the official winmx setup is not a windows installer. diesel if you meant the custom msi said that. Someone posted a custom msi somewhere a while ago in this forum. Search for it. If you can't find it, I will make a setup that silently installs it.
  22. @crahak it works for me I don't know what to tell ya. Sometimes it works for people, sometimes it doesn't. But like you said there are other ways.
  23. You could also put the key in the same directory as the setup and the setup will automatically include the key. This was said before in another thread, but I am repeating it...
  24. Uploaded newer 0.1q and website is now online. You can download the setup from there. Later.
