    IRC Channel

This is what I see for an IRC channel. It'll be just a channel, nothing more... btw...there're MANY project-channels on freenode and I'm always finding help there...more people, more help. Actually on #nlite@freenode there're two people...me and Michi...so, no really "dumb" question, just some chats about nlite/addon/bugs. Naturally, if someone come there and ask: "How could i nlite my WindowsXP CD?" my response will be something like: "Go and read the forum/site/whatever! We are not your PERSONAL manual!" So, everyone is welcome there, but i'll NOT be him/his manual. mrmr @nuhi we're idling there almost every day...so you are welcome too

I quote Michi he's right... mrmr

    IRC Channel

Connect to freenode irc server (irc.freenode.net) and join #nlite irc://irc.freenode.net/nlite mrmr

    IRC Channel

I'm not talking about an "official support channel" cause i can agree that's a difficult task, btw, i'd like the channel registered by the stuff and i think that freenode is a good network for such a thing. It should be only a "nlite centric" channel where user can share their knowledge, nothing less nothing more mrmr

So, what going on with this topic? I don't belive that noone is interested in a IRC channel. It's a good place where discussion can be done mrmr

why don't we simply idle on a nlite@freenode? We'll take the better... mrmr P.S. I'll join it now. No need to register, just idle there. If someone from "the stuff" think that could be a good channel, he'll register it and join there.
  7. but isn't better chose another network? imho something like Freenode could be better mrmr
  8. Well, can I change also "Default Windows Blue" background color with the RegTweaks by @hp38guser? And can I usa also a *.theme file instead of a .msstyle? mrmr
  9. @drthawhizkid i mean this one: foo_repeat0.1.7 for Foobar2000 ver0.8_English.txt It's a 100k plugin mrmr
  10. Is the repeat plugin included? mrmr P.S. @drthawhizkid why don't you place a plugins list onto the website? B)
  11. hallo but why you don't make a 2 packets installer? - FIRST - "base" foobar200 - SECOND - "pluging" foobar2000 the first one only with an "ultra lite" foobar2000 and the second with all the plugin that you want...a sfx will be enought...maybe add instructions to permit everyone to build his own second "plugin" packet... It's only an idea...but keep in mind this! B) mrmr
  12. hallo I've downloaded from M$ a file called htmlhelp.exe from: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default....lpDownloads.asp nobody know how to install it unattended? As first thing i've launched installer (htmlhelp.exe) and i've copied the directory created in TEMP somewhere on my disk, then i've used the setup.exe inthere, with relative htmlhelp.inf. I've menaged to comment out the part that are displaying the windows, change [CustomLDID49100]'s paths (always %ProgramFiles%) andDefaultInstallDir from "C:\Program Files\HTML Help Workshop" to "%ProgramFiles%\HTML Help Workshop", btw, at some times it fails to register the dll with this error: Advanced INF Install Error registering the OCX %49000%\itcc.dll Here the modified htmlhelp.inf: [Version] Signature="$Chicago$" ; I think that there're some problem with hardcoded directories...they are hardcoded to "C:" and "\Program Files" and my installation should work also on other DRIVE & DIR every help is a step forward thank you mrmr
  13. ...so...here my RunOnceEx part... REG ADD %KEY%\020 /VE /D "Defrag Professional Edition v6.5.851" /f REG ADD %KEY%\020 /V 1 /D "%systemdrive%\install\Defrag-Pro-Ed-v6.5.851.msi INSTALLDIR=%ProgramFiles%\Defrag /qb" /f REG ADD %KEY%\020 /V 2 /D "REGEDIT /S %systemdrive%\install\RegTweaks\Defrag.reg" /f i've noticed that if i use INSTALLDIR="%ProgramFiles%\Defrag Professional" (path quoted with " ") it doesn't work, so i've menaged for above path. Don't know if there's a workaround...next, my Defrag.reg Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\O&O\O&O Defrag\6.0\Pro\licenses] "User"="my.user" "Company"="my.company" "SerialNo"="XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\DefragPath] @="\"%ProgramFiles%\\Defrag\\oodcnt.exe\"" I hope this help mrmr P.S. mmm, i've started the installer...and then, from TEMP directory i've copied the .msi only...
  14. cola99 my installation goes like your...if i wait the driver window disappear...btw it should be better if it doens't appear at all... @Jito463 I've removed most of the drivers...i've only net, sound and some other...my XP CD is 198MB right now... mrmr P.S. I've also found an old post in this forum that point to a awxDTools_R0.9.exe of 50k... it can be installed silently...and doesn't need daemon script... look at here: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=13414
  15. @mazin eheh...you are a Turbo replier btw, something like this? REG ADD %KEY%\001 /VE /D "O&O Professional Defrag 6" /f REG ADD %KEY%\001 /V 1 /D "%cdrom%\Apps\DfrgPro\OODefrag.msi /INSTALLDIR="%ProgramFiles%\Defrag Professional" /qn" /f or REG ADD %KEY%\001 /VE /D "O&O Professional Defrag 6" /f REG ADD %KEY%\001 /V 1 /D "%cdrom%\Apps\DfrgPro\OODefrag.msi INSTALLDIR="%ProgramFiles%\Defrag Professional" /qn" /f which one? mrmr EDIT: OK solved....it's seen the second choice...without "/" Thank you
