Hello. Well haven't used OE for ages and I forgot if it has the search function on the toolbar.But thunderbird has it on edit. U can have signature.All you have to do is make a text document with what you want inside to display as a sig,save it where you like and edit the server settings to point to where you've saved it. Whatever you're asking is inside the manual.So RTFM Thunderbird has many many features. AND its BETTER than OE!!

Hello all, I have a netlogon.bat batch script, which I want to run some commands upon login for all hosts except one (computername: PC2). Currently I have the following script: if "%COMPUTERNAME%" == "PC2" goto OUT @del c:\windows\*.pwl regedit /s \\myserver\netlogon\nocache.reg :OUT echo exiting :END which doesn't work the way I want, it runs 'del' & 'regedit' for all hosts. Any batch script wizards around here ? (btw. all hosts run win98 & the server runs samba on linux)

U see ie is totally crap and the only site that is not supported by those browsers is windows update (cause activeX) . I never use ie only for update...

Well I'm interested in creating an unattened win98 cd.Been trying also to make one and put it in my multiboot dvd.. At my work putters are running win98 (cause they're slow and some programs doesn't work under winxp...). Although I think win98 is safer???? In every new worm-virus description the only uninfected os (from M$) is win9x,I think.

Well I'm using win2k3 enterprise.I have ati 9200.I'm using ati catalyst drivers 4.4 without any problems on games etc.. I haven't tried omega drivers yet but I don't think you could find much difference in them.

Yep.I'm using win2k3 for my default windows os for a couple of months now and I didn't have any software misfunction. I haven't found any problems using any kind of antivirus program yet.I'm using NOD32 without a single problem. Don't forget win2k3 = winxp but has some services turned off. Read the guide on how to convert win2k3 from server 2 win2k3 workstation. Hope I've helped you..

Hello, we have a custom-made program that uses a dial-up connection to transfer files from a remote server using a "custom" protocol (should be appletalk, based on IANNA). Anyway, as long as we were using dial-up it suited us fine, now we updated to static adsl & we'd like to use it for that program too. The problem is that the company that wrote that program doesn't want to upgrade it nor give us any specs on the protocol used (in order to write a small program to do the same task...), so we're left out cold. Is there any way to setup a "virtual" dial-up connection that simply forwards packets to ethernet ?
