Trying to install internet explorer 6 ECHO. ECHO Installing Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 start /wait %systemdrive%\install\Applications\IE6SP1\ie6setup.exe /Q:A /R:N After the installation I got explorer.exe have caused an error. When I rebbot it works correctly. Does anyone know sth?

Making a dvd with winxp,win2k unattended? If this could be possible it would be a life saver!!! I mean making a selection before starting windows installation which distro to install. It would be much better if win98 is inside too... It would be the perfect dvd

Me too wanted to save my day. Well created my winnt.sif but I can't see anywhere to put my s/n or the command waitforreboot like in xp unattended. Anyone has a winnt example? And what switch for installing internet explorer 6 sp1?

Well I've successfully managed to install Norton Systemworks 2k3. Is it possible to custom the setup? I mean to silently install selected components?

I want to make the setup each time of the installing procedure to prompt for installation of windows boot loader. I'm using lilo bootloader cuase I've installed linux.. So is it?

Computer reboot after successfully installing all the hotfixes & applications? And remove all the screensavers.? Read about psshutdown on the MSFN guide but I got an error..

I don't want to create a folder I want to erase the folder that install creates... It creates a folder install in the root of c: disk and it copies inside hotfixes,regfixes,directx9b

A final and silly question maybe. How could the folder created in the hard disk I mean the install folder be erased after a successfull procedure?

Thanx gonna test it later. What about the main_batch.cmd & hotfixes.cmd I have the directories inside eg:%systemdrive%\$OEM$\$1\install\WMP9\MPSetupXP.exe and a hotfixe example start /wait %systemdrive%\$OEM\$1\install\Hotfixes\Q323255_WXP_SP2_x86_ENU.exe .

Well it worked thanx. I burned the cd and I'm trying to install it using vmware. After I installed it I got this message : windows can not find $OEM$\$1\install\main_batch.cmd and $OEM$\$1\install\hotfixes.cmd. I put both winnt.sif & winnt.bat in i386 folder of my cd. In my winnt.sif is the directories [GuiRunOnce] %systemdrive%\$OEM$\$1\install\main_batch.cmd %systemdrive%\$OEM$\$1\install\hotfixes.cmd Any help?

Well my first post here.Tried to create my first unattended cd.Yesterday tried to install it in my putter but I didn't get the option to format my selected (installing) partition. I have made a hotfixes folder and a install folder (for wmp9 & directX 9b) only. I believe I have done sth wrong with my winnt.sif .
