  1. Correct. Edit the existing file with what you want to add.
  2. It was xper's decision, not Alanoll's
  3. http://ryanvm.msfn.org/ It lives!
  4. Interesting, so you were able to actually update the AIP with the second MSI? Hmm, I didn't think you could do that unless it was an MSP. EDIT: And there's ways around that little update check if you know Orca, not that I can say anything more about that here
  5. If you add them to driver.cab, you're almost certainly going to have to edit layout.inf. If you look at the driver INF files in i386, you'll notice that they basically use layout.inf as their [sourceDisksFiles] section. Unfortunately, layout.inf is digitally signed and, unless you hack syssetup.dll, setup will throw up a signature verification error very early into the GUI portion.
  6. Only if you used /integrate for them.
  7. As far as I can tell, the MSI contained in the update package is the full MSI. Go fig
  8. Except I've already said I'm not using trackers which also carry illegal content. I'm not taking that risk.
  9. It's pushed back indefinitely. I've got some other stuff I want to work on with it besides just adding more fixes.
  10. Closer to 200GB
  11. Yeah, I've personally only heard of that error occuring when users slipstream sp2 over sp1.
  12. Read the FAQ on the site
  13. I've got anti-leeching on already in that my .htaccess doesn't allow any downloads unless the referrer is from my site. Unfortunately, that doesn't do any good when people just link to my site and tell people to download it from there I am thinking about blocking that site's referrer from all access to it, but I haven't decided yet.
  14. Nah, the forums essentially use no bandwidth at all relatively speaking. It's the 30MB files being downloading 5000+ times (last time I checked my logs, I had over 5000 downloads of CAB files from my site this month and over 7000 exe downloads) that uses up the bandwidth
  15. Looking through my logs, it appears you can thank the asshats at kpnemo.ru for jacking my bandwidth usage up so much. I'm getting ready to just take the files off my site and post ed2k links instead. My host doesn't allow users to run bittorrent trackers, so unless any of you guys have a tracker you'll let me use (one which does NOT have pirated material on it), that's not an option. EDIT: Mirror's up now. More information at http://www.ryanvm.net/
  16. You guys are freakin' nuts. I get 120GB/month with my host and as of this point, I've used 133GB. What does this mean? It means automatic bandwidth throttling from my host has been turned on in order to stop the bleeding. It means I've got a charge for extra bandwidth usage this month that I'm going to have to pay. I'm working on putting together some mirrors to last the rest of the month, but in the mean time y'all are just going to have to be patient. Today's been really crappy thanks to a raging post-St. Patrick's Day hangover, so I'm really not up to dealing with it at the moment. EDIT: Mirrors are available from http://www.ryanvm.net now.
  17. No, but it does mean you guys know how to go through bandwidth like crazy.
  18. What would make you think that?
  19. The files appear in dllcache even without the cat files in svcpack.inf
  20. j4ever - did you have a beta of it installed previously? I'm pretty sure it's RC1 you downloaded.
  21. umm.... http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/ReleaseNotes.html ?
  22. aww, isn't that sweet
  23. If you can't /integrate a hotfix, there's really no point in adding its CAT file to svcpack.inf. Just run the exe from svcpack.inf and let it sort out the WFP stuff.
  24. That question's already been answered in my forums.
