  1. Obviously not a numbers person ... Jesus ... What ever happened to tolerance? Different strokes for different folks, and all that. As my Uncle Bill so often said: "What? Do you think everyones like you?"
  2. Then I'd best post before it's too late! Keep up the good work, RyanVM! From what was once just a gleam in your eye seems to have taken off quite well! You also seemed to have picked up quite a following along the way. Now that you've got your own place, remember to keep in touch!
  3. Looks good, tommyp! Now that you've done it, no need for me to try to integrate it into XPCREATE! Sorry, but I really haven't got the time these days. And if I were to to be so inclined, I would need to make sure that there is no Windows EULA violations (I've not studied it carefully enough to verify that ... ). Maybe I'll have more time, now that Hell has frozen over ... Bilou: I saw you mention in another thread a utility to manually extract MSI files (I think that is what you mentioned). If that was not it, it was some sort of extractor that looked like a tool I should have. Peut tu me le passe?
  4. In any event ... welcome to MSFN, Xeophonix! You can now download XPCREATE from the Web Site again.
  5. Welcome, alex123fire and gbmacman, to MSFN! Actually, homiebrah, WMC.EXE should be put in SVC-POS, which also uses those same switches. THis will ensure that XPCREATE does not try to slipstream WMC. As for all your errors, gbmacman, I do believe, as Body suggests, shlwapi.dll is the cause. I cannot remember which hotfix this file is in, but there does seem to be a version conflict.
  6. Welcome to MSFN, honey! Hmmm ... I don't see anything off hand in your setup, but then again, I amo not too versed in those DIF files. As for your WIN2000 problems, I do believe that is due to using DLAUTO=YES, and there is no up to date Hotfix List.
  7. Alanoll is correct: those files do not have Uninstall options, thous you do not see them.
  8. Welcome to MSFN, Codesmith! Did Bilou's suggestion solve this problem, or are you still in Limbo?
  9. Thanks, homiebrah, for pointing out that registry setting.
  10. I think we scared him away ... I am more than willing to help, time permitting, but those posting MUST make an effort in presenting their problem in a comprehensible manner.
  11. XPCREATE can once again be downloaded from the XPCREATE Web Site. However, the List Server for hotfixes is NOT available at this time. For Windows XP, you should manually download the patches shown on the Current Hotfixes Page of the Web Site. For Windows 2000, the Windows 2000 List ( http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=22266 ) gracefully maintained by Bilou_Gateux would be your best bet. The Web Site List for Windows 2000 is relevant to the current Test Version. To save you from asking ... that will be released when I have the time available that is required for a new release. Happy XPCREATIONS!
  12. Thanks, dlevens! Always nice to see someone willing to contribute!
  13. SEARCH! http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=32468
  14. You are welcome, bob3d. But now you made it too easy for kC_: he succeeded in getting someone else to do his work for him, and did not even have to get off his rusty dusty. Oh well, I just hope his teacher finds out he cheated on his homework ...
  15. Hope you aren't holding your breath waiting ... The AVG Admin Kit still works fine for me (AVGADMIN). It's on their web site, along with full instructions ...
  16. Welcome to MSFN, [VII] ! Somehow, most likely through a registry setting, you have disabled 8.3 file name creation. This is often done to "speed up" disk access. However, XPCREATE needs it. I forget the registry setting, but it is something that YOU have done, as Windows allows 8.3 file name creation by default.
  17. Or just Loubi, in verl'en! I haven't forgotten this thread, just quite busy. You seem to be doing fine without me!
  18. For the mean time, Windows Media Connect can be re-packaged as discussed in the Application Switched thread, and placed in SVC-POS (I think ... ) Thanks for the input, homiebrah.
  19. XPCREATE has done SWFLASH the same way for quite a while. Strange you would get a prompt: I only extract files from the CAB, I do not add the CAB itself, and even then, a CAB does not execute like a program. As you said: Wierd!
