thank you very much prior builds to 1.04 kept giving me problems i was finaly able to remove mspaint & few other things only problem when removing music samples & pics it left the folders other then that im very pleased

i get the same error & i use vlite 1.2 & try removing mspaint

can somebody tell me if removing these 3 ie8 , wmp & ms paint will it break windows features ? also if they dont break it whats ms paint called so i can remove it

i remove some of the items u listed as red & i never have any problems

some people get errors some don't i did'nt get any errors on my vlite

those slipstream fine for me , just make sure you slipstream these before you plan on removing anything

paint.net uses net. framework so if you remove it you wont be able to run paint.net

the -extreme worked wonders

same here would like to see this also in vlite everytime i run torrents my connection gets dropped , when i was using xp with the cracked tcpip my connection was fine

ok i do not know if this has been asked before but everytime i do a new vlite with a new version of vlite & i remove internet explorer it still shows up in windows update with the following update Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 7 in Windows Vista (KB939653) anyway to remove this update from showing & yes i used vlite 1.1 beta 2 & it shows up

i have the same problem as snapshot they refuse to delete or be fixed in ccleaner & when i try to delete the reg key in regedit it refuses to delete im using vista 32bit business

after creating my new vlited vista business i can pretty much say it is safe to remove ie7 & ie core i have not run into any problems with any of the programs i use , foobar , americas army , exact audio copy , o&o defrag , winrar , paint.net , ccleaner

so it is safe to remove ie7 if so ill be installing firefox for sure on my next vlite build

what all did u remove can u post your last session my vlite disc is about 800mb mine is running fine

cool nuhi can't wait hope you have made a few new features that can be removed just a off topic question if i remove windows upgrade since i dont plan on upgrading to a higher version of vista im happy with business will i be able to still use windows experience ? you know your computers score based on hardware

thx i was able to change my version from saying 2002 to now saying 2007 thx again

found it for KB904706 i installed it via windows update & downloaded them all then looked at all the files sizes after i extracted them all the 1 u need if u have sp2 english is download
