  1. Are you running folding@home or Seti? If you are running SETI@Home or Folding@Home graphical clients switch to the console versions. I had the same problem with my games while using Folding@Home graphical client problems disappeared when I switched to console version. Thats my guess.. -d-
  2. Your graphics card "may" not have a temperature sensor built in, I know when I purchased my X1300 Pro it didn't have a sensor, but when I switched down to a X700 Pro it had a temperature sensor imbedded and also it had software controlable fan speed. (sadly I no longer have either of these cards due to psu failure, back on a 220W psu )
  3. @Jago_lfn Yeah it has been fixed, I've got a Kajhit wearing boots and a helmet, (daedric i believe) my first play through morrowind was Kajhit and I was quite dissapointed at not being able to use boots or a helmet but on Oblivion you can wear boots+helemet on a kajhit (not sure about Argonian though)
  4. BUMP! Um, I'm still needing help here,. someone must know what the problem is or what setting to adjust...?
  5. The UPNP setting is under Tools/Misc. if thats the setting you are wondering about, yes it is turned on. the only way I can send files out via msn and mIRC is to set DMZ to enabled for the computer that I am on at the time.
  6. BUMP still needing help please. Thanks
  7. err well I know its not recommended but I do not run any firewall software, only hardware firewall that the router has so it has to be a setting that I missed. Unless it's my ISP. Checked with ISP and determined it has to be on my end. -D-
  8. I purchased a new D-Link DI-604 in the past and have used it for quite awhile but it has recently come to my attention that I can not send files out, via- Msn Messenger and IRC, I have not tested Yahoo Messenger or AOL Messenger. but I am assuming if I can not send files out with those programs that yahoo and aol will not work. perhaps there is a setting that I missed in my router setup page anyone that has this same router and can give me a hand. it would be much appreciated Thank You On another note: I failed to mention that I can upload files to my ISP's provided webspace
  9. I grew up with the Atari and Tanks, used to play Tanks for ages. then i moved up bought my NES for $100 with 4games 4controllers back in '94, moved to the big city in '98 and bought a SNES played that alot rented Sega Genesis, Saturn then i bought a psx and I've played that and my PS2 ever since but once I got my pc I kinda stopped playing FPS on the PSX and PS2 I play most of my shooters on PC, PS2 and PSX still take the crown for sports, racing and majority of RPGS but nothing beats a mouse and keyboard for getting those headshots on Unreal Tournament or playing Quake III on my LAN with some friends, Although I still own all my systems except the Atari and the Sega systems (lost during the move) I actually hardly play them, I haven't bought a new game for PSX or PS2 in almost a year , but I still play all my old ones, heh -D-

  11. If you can find the SAITEK P3000 WIRELESS PAD, its quite a good controller for pc, wireless comes with a charging stand (charges off of the usb power) and all of the buttons are programmable to your liking. see controller here -D-
  12. in WMP click tools,. options,. go to the dvd tab, click advanced and then adjust the master and gain at the bottom. -D-
  13. damnit and I was saving up for a socket 939 CABYNE opteron,..looks like I won't be getting one anymore they need to stop jerking the market around like this or pretty soon the market will jerk back. -D-
  14. Just the bare essentials i need to keep happy Bookmark Synchronizer Chatzilla - IRC Client Fireftp -ftp client hmm yea thats about it -D-
  15. well the horror stories you have heard are quite true and common, but thankfully most of them are simple causes,. at the begining when trying to install XP it should ask you to press F6 to install SATA/Raid drivers, have the proper drivers ready on a floppy disk,. press F6 and install them off the floppy disk and you should be ok. a very minimal ammount of motherboards from certain companys i think mainly ASUS and DFI (someone can correct me if i'm wrong) auto-detect the SATA drive and do not need drivers installed if you have a motherboard from one of those manufacturers check the company's website of the board you own look for your model number or type and it should have some info on it. -D-
  16. Excellent Excellent find prathapml. I've been looking for something like this for quite awhile now as I could never get mulplicity to work correctly, although i do have to agree with Incroyable HULK that it would be much better with monitor switching as well although then it would lag and I'm quite happy with having to break out my glasses for the cost of no lag so i can see what i'm typing on the other screen Great find none the less -D-
  17. The only hardware you need,. is a router, and some CAT5e cable, long enough to reach from the router to your 2 cousins computers, so you'd need two lengths of CAT5e, for cable internet to work you dont really need any specific services you only need a few specific services if you wish to file share, also another thing to remember is try to keep the lengths of cord under (150ft?) i think otherwise you'll experience signal loss -D-
  18. Hardcore Techno,.. and everything heavy,. some foreign music such as Rammstein. not too much of a "pop culture fan" some grunge..basically a little bit from every genre except classical,.and country ~D~
  19. These drivers may work omega drivers they aren't digitally signed,. nor supported by ATI but for me they work alot better then ATI's drivers, and they just may fix your problem with "the driver was written for a previous version of Windows" ~D~
  20. K-Lite Codec Pack, This pack works great for me and it installs the required DVD-Decoder, I've linked you to the download page to save the hassle of looking for it. ~D~

    2006

Suprised no one put in a dib on Quake 4 or Morrowind Oblivion, Oblivion looks sweet Thats probably the only thing I'm waiting for in 2006. See some Oblivion PC screenshots here -D-
  22. Encrypted magic folders is also another great one, you have to run it inside windows. but it works great. it makes everything and anything disapear from windows has a big warning about hiding system files, you put a master password so that no one but you can hide files and then you make a backup "Master Key" floppy disk that allows you to unlock all your files in case of a forgotten password, this program can be found here its free for the first 30days then I think its something like $10 for a key that will allow you to use it until you don't need it anymore, I use it all the time and it works great. -D-
  23. Actually it depends on the laws of your country. Here in Canada it is legal to download, yet it's not legal to upload. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So canada has no copyright laws currently?? (haha its sad, I live here and I don't even know the laws )
  24. Well This Place sells all types of memory,.I'm pretty sure they ship anywhere at a pretty decent price too, I myself haven't ordered from them yet, but a friend of mine ordered 6 sticks of PC100 for himself and he said it all works perfectly fine so you should have no problems with them. -D-
