  2. Ahhh. UT ... I completly forgot about that one! Add that one to my list also!
  3. I played America's Army for a long time. It is by far the best online game I have ever played. However, I got tired of it and gave my account to Astalavista! I now play Call of Duty on the PC and Call of Duty II on Xbox Live (Xbox 360). I would say that COD is my favorite. PS: You should have post this on the Gamers Hangout.
  4. Hehe. Like jbm said. Just put it inside the root of the i386 folder. Check out this part and this one of the Guide for more information about WINNT.SIF.
  5. Like gamehead200 and code blue, I also found a little something.
  6. Happy Birthday buddy!!
  7. LOLOL. Why? I would say anime.

  10. Good luck on finding that list. P.S. Why did someone vote 5 stars on this thread?! :|
  11. I understand your pain. For a long time I tought that, having the computer full of Anti-Virus and all these "great" aplications was the best solution. I dont know about Norton 2006, I stoped using it in 2001 (If I remeber right), and never touched an Anti Virus again. Best pratices, are having the OS cut down to the bone and use freeware apps that do, ONLY what theyr suposed to do. As long as we keep things clean and organized, I dont see the need of using aplications full of bloat like Norton.
  12. No problem buddy. Have a good Crishtmas and a Happy New Year!
  13. English only please. Please edit your post.
  14. My Crishtmas gifts were given a little bit earlier ... Xbox 360 + Call of Duty 2 - Mom and Dad Motorola V3 Razr Black - Girlfriend So, the big gifts are done. Ill just have to wait to open up the socks and t-shirts on the crishtmas night.
  15. My personall choices are: CCleaner Ad-aware Sybot - Search and Destroy Check them out. Use them all, if you want, and 99% chances the spyware problem will be solved.
  16. Have you been messing around with the Services? Do you get any error when you try to see the computers of the workgroup? See if you have the Computer Browser service running.
  17. Hi epic. Problem solved. The length of the cable (cat5e) wich is the one im using for the telephone line (im only using 4 wires of the whole cable) was not a problem. I tested with a 20cm telephone cable, and the problem still hapenned. The solution I found was to use my WRT54GS to do the Login (using PPPoE), and use the Modem (ADSL2MUE) to do bridge between my home network and the internet. What I still need to check is eMule. Since the Modem doesnt have NAT, I dont think eMule will work. However, the whole is working now. However, the modem didnt do what it was suposed to do (be a god **** modem).
  18. Thank you. Ill check that out.
  19. Hi everyone. I was looking for one of those online speed testers, but I want a something a little different. One that lets you select the amount of time/or size of data downloaded for a X number of times, and then give the average download speed. Anyone knows something that can do this? Thanks.
  20. I got an increase using the ADSL2MUE Router. (I have ADSL, not ADSL2). TEST SPEED SCREENSHOT I was around 1.5 with the standard modem for my ISP. Im pretty happy with the results now, however, the modem is a pain in the @$$ to configure!
  21. Unless someone changed it, you should only have your localhost there. However, you can add/remove anything you want/need. Like the previous posters said, go to that path and use notepad to edit it.
  22. Hi everyone. I recently bought one of these to my home network. Didnt like it very much. It has some weird things going on inside. For instances, It freezes when you try to change the IP. I had to change the Wireless Router IP instead of the Router. Im also having telephone line problems. The guy on my ISP told me it was because the length of the cable. (10m). I get disconnect every ~5 minutes. Can the lenght of the cable be a problem? Im currently testing it on a 20cm length telephone cable. Do you have one? What do you think about it? Changed the firmware to a non-linksys one? Thanks for the opinions.
  23. I didnt understood you problem completly (my English sucks), but you need to have DHCP enabled so that this service can "give" dynamic IPs for the computers on the network.
  24. UndeadSoldier ... His question is about Network Installation for Windows. Thats Windows related, using Linux is just a middle for an end. Take care!
  25. Do you have DHCP enabled on the router?
