Sleep.exe not working

Featured Replies

I can't get sleep.exe to work.

I include "start /wait sleep.exe 5", but all it does is bring up a seperate command window which closes quickly and moves on to the next line of the batch.

Am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

my command is:

start /wait %systemdrive%\temp\sleep.exe 03

just some lines before i copied the sleep.exe, sleep1.lsm and sleep.pas into C:\temp

but i got no idea for what the lsm or pas file is for...

ehrm, in my case, there is also another command window. but he really waits 3 seconds ;-)

No start wait needed. Just: sleep.exe 5

I'm getting this problem, and it happens even if I run a program before it, behind it, exclude the zero, etc. Is this not meant to run in a windows environment?
