erpdude, I read of a couple of guys who said they were running 2gb, but they had 64 bit processors[1 AMD,1 Intel] & I ain't there yet Time I get there they'll have 256 bit processors ssmokesee, I'm currently running 1gb ddr 2700[Kingston x 2-512's], works great!

Technoguy, I have suspend in 98se, what be diff between that and hibernate? My puter shuts down monitor & hdd, trickle power to mobo for wakeup

Ya, I've done numerous searches and did find 3 peeps said they were running at 2gb[can't remember where] but also were running 64 bit processors[2-AMD,1-Intel] since it'll be awhile b4 I can move up guess 1gb gonna be the limit, Maybe 98ntfs would do it

Just dlg sp2, but on 1.6.2 haven't had bsod in over 6mos, 98se is far better than XP could ever hope to be! Has anyone been able to break the 1gb ram barrier? Would like to max my mobo, 2gb.

I couldn't get either of the Softpedia dl sites to work, had to use MGDx's, it's running good! thanks MGDx Been using 98se usp ever since ver 1 and it's great
