I'm curious what will be the necessary ressources on XP to operate fluently.

That worked for my Mediacenter Edition, was French edition and updated with standard French service pack 3 iso. Mypal 68 is working for boths Xp 32 bits now. Still have problem with 64 bit's Mypal 68 release on Xp 64 with "Couldn't load XPCOM" message at start. Ahh , hope we can change language setting soon ?

Did you take normal x32 sp3 iso for that (with localized language of course) ?

X64 have sp2, is not updated to 2019 if this is the question. What is really important to update on X64 ?

The Xp mediacenter edition have Sp2 from 24/03/2006, not sure there exist a sp3 for it. X64 edition, nothing found for xpcom message, only a folder in code tree, we are 2 to have the issue.

Tested M115 on VM x64 and 1 Gb Ram, it works. Installed extensions Ublock and Translate. Seems a chinese patched version, sometimes we see squares But still lack of Widevine, no progress above 360 Browsers.

My experience on an old laptop from 2006. It vas delivered with Vista. (4 Gb but works with 2). Partitionning HDD to get place for linux. Installing W7 in place of Seven, installing Linux Mint in dual Boot. W7 and Linux have same latest Firefox ESR version. Surfing is fluent under Linux, not fluent under W7 (all drivers installed). Linux is more efficient on a dedicated Machine with same bowser.

If the target is to have an up to date Web Browser on an old machine, simply install Linux on it and you can install the updated one of your choice.. I don't want to have a Frankenstein OS (It's a Debian terminology) , call it One Core Api over Xp if you want, but nobody talk about compatibility with others programms and it seems not compatible with real hardware

Ok, I will done a try with version 1030 over the weekend, same condiditions. Edit Dropbox links are down at page 1 for 1030, back to version 2036, was installed here. Re Edit. Same paquets comming from external, confirmed with wireshark. Nothing to do with Web Browser, but origin (first paquet of sequence in Wireshark) is supeciously comming from China, Why?

I use sometimes UltraVNC, and this one gives lot of informations in event viewer. So I have discovered lot of connections attemps to UltraVNC from China , all comming from Zengshou. (My UltraVNC is pass protected lol) Extract, one of them: "The following information is part of the event: 2/11/2023 19:03 Invalid attempt from client 124.222.62.173" Trace-routing "browser.360.cn" aka 211.91.77.132 gives same town. Using visual traceroute (gsuite.tools) , you can verify. Some parts not cleaned ?
