Why did firms remove their names from CD drives?
Saxon replied to j7n's topic in Hard Drive and Removable Media
"ATAPI", never heard of that "Slimtype" looks more like a product line of DVD drives for notebooks, not an actual brand name. -
Why did firms remove their names from CD drives?

Because "TSSTCorp" is a joint venture company of Toshiba and Samsung Electronics (simply merged). "Toshiba Samsung Storage Technology". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toshiba_Samsung_Storage_Technology -
Oh, and btw, I can't even look at it, it's locked to members only.

High and thank you! I meant a portable of DX9 pack that doesn't install into the system, only locally, to get this testing programme work. I don't own any DX9 games, I don't play them.

There's no script on the image, and the image is doctored, edited. What does it prove? -

And of course, by the old tradition, you won't show it to us. -
High and thank you! Is there a portable DX9 pack exists as well?

Hey members, "members" (one more time, in the new "style"), I love how you both completely ignore the increased size of the UI, fonts, replaced buttons to the absolutely flat ones, but got glued to the brightness subject. Edge colours are the proper ones, they are tuned by the pros for using in Windows, Gonna argue about that fact, too?

I don't have a github account, and win32 is now a rare guest here. Besides, I saw a post from Dixel where Dixel wrote win32 doesn't open PM on MSFN anymore.
-
It was always the case with Thorium, if you remember, it had been stuck at 109 for years, all until @win32 gave him the code. I'd say it depends on win32's mood. Probably, he will share with him again, probably not. Chromium 130 is already available at the devs lab, by the way.

Could you please persuade win32ss to base the browser on a China fork, a very good one, that @Dixel found? That fork is based on Brave, which is open-source. It would solve the bugs and speed up the process, it's not like when building from scratch.

Because I agree with you, and don't want to install the crappy DX9 on my PC. I actually agree with you sometimes, but not in the case with attachments. And I think D.Draker was the first one here to point out to DX9 being a severely outdated, buggy, bloated piece of garbage.
