  1. @AstroSkipper Very good work. It works!
  2. Thanks very much. Will test it right away.
  3. It's worth a try? I don't think the site will stay online until 2025 but who knows. I don't know what certificate is required for longer access.
  4. Right. These are urgently needed, otherwise it won't work. I edited my post above again.
  5. This certificate comes from ProxhttpsProxy. I don't think it's a risk.
  6. I always deleted it before. Still, it never worked. This "new" regenerated certificate seems to be the problem.
  7. I found the problem for httpsproxy. Here my solution: Close httpsproxy. Delete all Certificates from the folder "Certs". Delete the generated Certificate from httpsproxy and replace it with mine and run the Certinstaller. Call up Windows Update again and try to search for updates. It works fine for me. HTTPSProxyCA.crtProxHTTPS Cert Install.exe
  8. For me it only works with ProxyhttpsProxy. httpsproxy gives me problems too.
  9. You need to add these three websites to Trusted Sites: http://www.update.microsoft.com https://www.update.microsoft.com and http://update.microsoft.com And set the level to high. If it is not available, press reset first.
  10. Let's forget that for now. I'll explain again once we find the certificate error. I think we're all talking past each other now. I have the program from ThomasS. It runs directly in the Xp Vm.
  11. When the issue is resolved I will revisit the other topic to avoid confusion.
  12. I changed it. Unfortunately no difference.
  13. It was already entered because I'm using your config file. P.S. Sorry. I actually made a mistake. I meant that Xp is fully activated on my Vm.
  14. Windows 10 is my host system. I've done your steps, unfortunately it doesn't work. For whatever reason.
  15. The certificate error photo is of my vm and is enabled because it worked with ProxhttpsProxy, only with httpsproxy I get the error. The photo with the validation is from a real computer.
  16. I am now using your configuration file. Unfortunately still the same error.
  17. I use Win 7, Xp and W2k. Windows 10 is the main system.
  18. I did exactly the steps that were shown to me. I also replaced the configuration file. I can access all websites except check for updates. Certificates are also installed. Same problem in Win 7 too:
  19. @Dave-H Try ProxhttpsProxy and replace the configuration file and start Windows Update or Microsoft Update. Don't forget to install the certificates! http://i430vx.net/files/XP/ProxHTTPSProxyMII_REV3d_PY344.7z config.ini
  20. That's in XP. btw W2k still gives an error that it is not a valid Win32 application.
