  1. Unfortunately, one has made the Chromium Project, the effort to remove the code that is required for XP and Vista. (https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=579196) Now will probably appear in future all browsers built on Chromium (Vivaldi, Opera ...) no longer be run under XP or Vista, not good prospects. If this means that users should be moved to change to a newer Windows version, they have with me only one reached the change of the web browser. We have a proverb "Pride goeth before a fall" and hopefully they will arrive there again where they started times, especially since Windows XP still holds a significant proportion among the operating systems. That's my opinion on the subject of paid open source. Well, hope dies last, that someone takes the trouble and Chrome is running again under Windows XP.
  2. @glnz The .NET Framework Update (KB3135993) offered in WU or MU is the same one as in the post by Bersaglio. As regards update on Windows XP, I have found no problem. (At least it has not burnt off my PC! )
  3. @Dave-H It is correct in the future KB3099866 is no longer needed. Secondly, I wanted to expressing the KB3099866 it was manually install in hindsight correct because the WSUS catalog at KB3135993 this is listed as no longer needed. So MS has confirmed the KB3099866 for .NET Framework 4, which was officially listed for Windows Vista, also was for Windows XP!
  4. Worth mentioning would be in relation to the .NET Framework 4 update KB3135993, the update KB3099866 from 12/07/2015, loud WSUS replaced. (Although KB3099866 for .NET Framework 4 was not offered at WU or MU!)
  5. @glnz Glad to hear that, as far as regards the .NET Framework updates, everything worked. As your security concept, which is good on any case. A side note, I have to rid yet, the .NET Framework updates are not mine but Microsoft. Have only one list of links contributed. In my VM I have to test a POSReady 2009 Installation because I miss always spits out no money, something I do wrong.
  6. @glnz At point 1, I agree with Dave-H. On the subject of future updates for .NET Framework 3.5 & 4.0, it does not look good. Especially with March Patch Tuesday (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/security/ms16-035) for .NET Framework 3.5 sp1 (.NET Framework 2.0 & 3.0) and the .NET Framework 4.0, a patch likely appear should have, but according to Microsoft Support Lifecycle there are no more. For this reason I am looking, how other users also, for possible downloads (links) for .NET Framework 3.5 & 4.0 updates. Make crazy I would however not when a reasonable safety concept is run on your PC. (For example, sensible firewall like Comodo, virus scanners like Avast or Qihoo, antimalware program like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, alternative current web browser such as Firefox or PaleMoon and possibly Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit, EMET or HPA3) A-100% security does not exist! @Roffen In the .NET Framework 3.5 sp1 package are the version 2.0 sp2 and 3.0 sp2 included.
  7. @glnz Hello, does not look good on future updates for the .NET Framework! For Info this Post: For more information see the following links: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/search?sort=pn&alpha=.net%20framework https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle#gp/Framework_FAQ
  8. Have a problem the data of changed profile fields not be taken!
  9. That fits, I have again a migrated Image created for my software archive. So far, everything is in the green zone (Tested in VMware). Setupp.ini yet so adjusted 30-day trial are possible. In "SUPPORT\TOOLS" folder I have the tools yet updated, since XP version without SP was used to migrate. Thank's for your work
  10. I would be interested what are entered for registry keys in version 3.1b for the POSReady 2009 updates.
  11. All entries in the Reg Key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\WPA" one cannot delete while XP is running. To delete any of those entries one needs a boot medium where a Reg Editor can access the registry of the operating system. (For example ERD Commander or Kaspersky Rescue Disk) @glnz In my tests, I noticed no abnormalities, works so far everything as usual. @Stefan43 This key should contain the longest support time. Let's see what the future brings.
  12. Think me that ultimately the POSReady 2009 Regkey long term updates yet allowed.
  13. In WU and MU I get latest updates (German and English) offered for March 2016! Give the servers of MS bit more time, then think should the updates be available everywhere.
  14. @sdfox7 The download is password protected, the content is a 7z SFX (created with 7z SFX Builder) which is not password protected. Can be easily unpack with WinRAR since version 4.2, as well with 7z Packer since version 9.2. (Therein the control contain files, in the directory "Installer" updater and installer program, that can be installed with appropriate commands manually.)
  15. @sdfox7 If you still have interest on the Google Chrome Version 34.0.1847.137, have sent you a PM.
  16. @all Have released version 1.2 of Cert_Updater. Due Country-specific formats of date display, partly the creation date of sst files was not correctly displayed. (line offset) @dencorso Thanks for your time and work.
  17. The EMET 4.1sp1 .NET Framework 4 is required, which is the smallest problem. Which I think is problematic is the newer EMET versions on Windows XP are no longer functional. Over the long term because MBAE or HPA3, support as long as these Windows XP yet, a protrusion get what exploit detection and the functional capability of the protected programs relates. The attack scenarios change, because the protection software should be supplemented accordingly.
  18. When the two as much tolerated in my VM, I'm going on a test computer try all the time, especially as a physical hardware is prerequisite so diverse Exploit tests run correctly. The HitmanPro.Alert I will test first time in my VM, thanks for the info.
  19. @5eraph Thanks for the info, I changed the link in my posts accordingly. @Acheron So much the better, at least at an earlier time, there were often problems when both ran. Then I'm going to try a little bit, with both simultaneously in my VM.
  20. Either EMET or MBAE that behaves as if it has 2 virus scanners are installed simultaneously. In various tests, the programs bite.
  21. First of all thanks for the info will, I install Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit times and taste over a longer period.
  22. Such services should be tested in a virtual machine. Well, first, all important data is copied to an external source, if something goes wrong. As a next step in the registry following entry under HKLM, "SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\EWF\Parameters\Protected" "Volume0" (can differ, because I would like a return info) Delete. Then on the command line (CMD) following run "ewfmgr c: -commit" and reboot of XP. Now you should at least once again the changes are written to the volume (removal of the service EWF, original file "ntldr" restore and various changes to the registry to its original setting).
  23. Although use even Chrome, but now in a test of FF 43.0.1 on Youtube the videos were HTML5, played without additional plug-ins, in FullHD. For this reason, I'm first worry no more, then they should leave the Chrome support for the XP users die. Again a few Chrome users less.
  24. @Acheron Today I had to change the links in my posts to the contribution in RyanVM Forum, because the origional contribution was no longer available. Apparently there were problems. In the event that Malwarebyte Anti-Exploit is used, would be interested to know what experiences have been made so respectively there was eventually problems with some programs.
  25. There are an update for root certificates: authroots.sst from 01/28/2016 Those using heinoganda's Cert_Updater.exe should run it ASAP. Others needing a redistributable rootsupd.exe should follow his instructions for creating their own, or PM at 5eraph for an updated EXE file.
