Hello! Regarding Win98SE mobos I recommend ASRock (they have some really innovative products): First, the following mobo seems to be the ultimate one for Win98SE when released: ASRock 775i65G (865G+ICH5) Rev. 2 http://translate.google.com/translate?sour...F139455%2Eshtml According to this post there will be also new revision of ASRock 775i65PE: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showth...?t=97399&page=2 Alternative is to buy ULi chipset based ASRock 939Dual-SATA2 which can be upgraded to AM2: http://www.nforcershq.com/article5942.html Regards, Roman

Hello! which can be disabled from Adobe Reader 7 options dialog box. I hate it when it loads at startup. try running AR7 without their stuff loaded at bootup time. could be a difference in performance. Foxit Reader is a nice alternative to Adobe Reader. There's even a Foxit Reader Pro edition (shareware): http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_pro.php I'm going to use the free edition Foxit Reader. How is this working in Foxit Reader? http://ep.espacenet.com/search97cgi/s97_cg...ep/en/quick.hts Cheers, Roman

is there a way to install IE7 in 98se?
modicr replied to notinthisworld's topic in Windows 9x Member Projects
Hello! Not even in Windows 2000. Only in XP.SP2, XP.x64 and 2003.SP1 http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie7/ab...qs/default.mspx (I hope that there will be MSFN thread titled: "IE7 in 2000.SP4 with kernel updates") BTW, if you have fast Windows 98.SE PC with a lot of RAM, you can install Connectix Virtual PC 5.1 and inside it XP.SP2 and then IE7.B2 ... Cheers, Roman -
It seems that MSI information is corrupt. One way is to cleanup windows installer information, install office again and then uninstall it: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/MSICLEAN.htm Another option could be this link: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=821593 Cheers, Roman P.S. (Off topic) Have you installed USB Mass storage driver for Win98SE?
