yep, and this will be vry easy to include in the UA just like u explained thx to everyone that helped out, mostly aaron b/c he figured it out, DigeratiPrime for telling us the file, and godan for finding a way to do it too
well it worked, thx aaron http://frontiernet.net/~unholyknights/stobject.dll just put this in system32 and it will work but backup ur original if u ever want to use the safely remove hardware icon
i just edited a file called stobject.dll which has the icon in it, i made the icon transparent but there is a blank spot in the tray where it would be http://frontiernet.net/~unholyknights/stobject.dll put it in ur system32 folder and just backup the other if u want the icon back, with this if u right click on the blank spot then u can still use it does any1 know if u can move an icon in the tray to be the 1st icon?
i just found something u need batmeter for, the power options, i wanted to change the amount of time that it takes for my monitor to turn off and it wouldnt work. so i had to just change the file back to do it. but the monitor still turns off if the file is changed
i have mp3's and some of them are at a different volume than the others, some will sound like they are at 50% and others at like 80%. is there a tool that will allow me to make the volume of all of the songs the same?
what did i tell u guys, lol i also forgot to add the 8 gigs in my other comp, wow thats sad, i have 48 gigs, then the 8gigs in the xbox with a crap load of songs, like 450 of them
i just made an au3 script that will change batmeter.dll to batmeter.bak http://frontiernet.net/~unholyknights/batmeter.exe this way u will never see the icon again unless u change batmeter.bak to batmeter.dll this is what batmeter.dll is http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintas...brary/batmeter/ so it rly not important at all, maybe if ur using a laptop
wow, i just changed batmeter.dll to batmeter.bak and it works @redcloud, if u used hidesrhi then just go into the task manager and and explorer.exe, then go to applications and then new task and stat explorer.exe
okay i just made an sfx archive with winrar(self extracting) so all u need to do is dload the file and click it, then ure all set http://frontiernet.net/~unholyknights/HideSRHi.exe
mines disabled too, i did it thru services.msc i have an AV, dont need a firewall b/c router is enough for me, and i use the ryanvm pack for updates b/c that actually has the updates, u can only dload like half of them from windows update
