  1. i have a scythe ninja http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16835185122 paired with a panaflo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16835180081 no matter what heatsink you get, just make sure that you get the panaflo dont get the si or xp 120 the BT is vry good but it will be loud if you want it to cool as much as the ninja will
  2. you can get the rly cheap here http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/pa12ulhisp.html or from newegg... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16835180087
  3. you sure you set the jumpers right, b/c its not the hdds
  4. hmm. it is a tuff choice. but go by this, is the 170 available anywhere? what is ur budget for these 2 items? i have both the opteron 170 and evga 7800gt and they are just great together, 7832 in 3dmark05
  5. i love my 170, 2.6ghz is so sweet dual core, i can get it to 2.7 stable but then the heat issue comes into place, im sure i can get it to 2.8 but then i need a bunch of voltage.
  6. 4 fans. 1 front, 1 top, 1 back, and 1 in the lower chaper by the psu. but the one in the bottm chamber will need to be removed if ur using a long psu such as the ocz powerstream. the 80mm for the vid card i just plain old took out. no one uses it and it is in the way, it practiaclly covers the whole mobo. i wouldnt even be able to put it on with the size of my heatsink. you do get 3 fans with teh case but im only using 1 b/c the panaflos are so much better
  7. hdd is good then. look at newegg for all of these, cheaper and more reliable
  8. f*** thats a scrary story, hope you do well man
  9. calm down, im not trying be be mean at you. im just trying to enforce the idea about building a comp vs buying one, you'll just be wasting money. sorry if i offended you.
  10. just build the f***ing thing. you are going to get a POS comp if you get what you had in the first post. what rnielsen151 posted will do much better. yes your afraid put just google and read. mt first time i didnt even need to look at the instructions(except for the heatsink). this is b/c ive read up on so many things.
  11. what mobo u have? get this burner no questions asked. and order all ur crap from newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16827152058
  12. my ram is running at 3-3-3-8 which is amazing when im at ~245 htt gaming rocks with 2 gigs, battlefield 2 with no lag at all just rocks. dont worry too much about timings. what you should do is leave them at auto in the bios, then overclock your cpu to however high you want, then look in cpu-z for your timings and whatever those are, just set those into your bios.
  13. who knows what amd had up there sleeves? u kidding me, socket M2!!!
  14. get the san diego
  15. yes you do kamil and im running some superpi in hope to beat you my 3dmark05 is 7830 aquamark3 is 95,430 i have a 170 opteron at 265x10, 5/6 divider right now as im testing stability with prime95 edit: i just got 28:08 superpi but mine is dual core
  16. hey buddy, you getting jealous about my case? i love it sooo much. right now i have a crappy antec fan on my scythe ninja b/c i can only fit a normal width fan on it. then for the case fans i have 3 panaflo high speeds the case isnt suppose to hold these massive widthed fans but i made them fit. the only one that i really had problems with was the front one. you wont be able to but the hdd cage in there, you will have to use the lower chamber hdd cage for you hdds. but once you have the middle hdd cage removed, you need to unscrew the top black plate which is meant to hold in the hdd cage. once thats done you can get the fan it. this took me like an hour to figure out after trying to force the fan it, but its vry worth it.
  17. try only connecting the new drive and then seeing if it is detected
  18. my birthday present is also my xmas present but i dont care
  19. give me the your budget. and are you getting just the mobo, cpu, ram, and heatsink?
  20. http://www.newegg.com/ProductSort/SubCateg...p?SubCategory=7 take a look here for a case, now i know that you are not able to order from here but just look for some cases. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16811129154 this is my case, got it for 100$ w/ rebates and i absolutly love it, looks great too and pretty silent but nowhere for leds
  21. well i dont know who told u that. so you want to add another hdd that has 2000 already installed? if so then ask a mod to move this into the windows xp forum.
  22. no. that board allows you to use crossfire which is the same as sli expect with ati cards. the expert board still has bugs to work out but if u are willing to pay enough for it then go ahead.
  23. the gs has higher clocks so im not rly sure. if you dont care then get the gs
  24. you should have gotten the ddr500, but its still amazing ram
  25. absolutly no difference as long as you only want to use 1 card. exactly same performance. get the dfi nf4 ultra-d! much better. dunno how much it is for you tho.
