Right.. well after much practice I have almost got my DVD sorted the way I want but I have a few small problems I need some expert help with: 1) Ulead DVD Movie Factory 3 Disc Creator - uses InstallShield and installs fine with ISS file as do 3 of the 5 patches available for various tweaks to the prog but two don't. All are supposed to be Installshield (they say so!) but the two that don't work don't seem to respond to ISS files and hence don't install at all. The only difference I could find to the working patches was that these have a splash screen and no INI files. Any ideas??? 2) My CLEANUP.CMD seems to do nothing. It is called at the end of RunOnceEx.Cmd. REG ADD %KEY%\200 /VE /D "Cleaning Up and Rebooting" /f REG ADD %KEY%\200 /V 1 /D "%cdrom%\SOFTWARE\cleanup.cmd" /f EXIT It's a default one from this forum cmdow @ /HID shutdown.exe -r -f -t 60 -c "Windows XP will now restart in 1 minute..." net user aspnet /delete RD /S /Q "%AllUsersProfile%\Start Menu\Programs\PrintMe Internet Printing" RD /S /Q "%AllUsersProfile%\Start Menu\Programs\Java Web Start" DEL "%systemroot%\*.bmp" DEL "%systemroot%\*.log" DEL "%systemroot%\Web\Wallpaper\*.jpg" DEL "%systemroot%\system32\dllcache\*.scr" DEL "%systemroot%\system32\*.scr" DEL "%AllUsersProfile%\Start Menu\Set Program Access and Defaults.lnk" DEL "%AllUsersProfile%\Start Menu\Windows Catalog.lnk" DEL "%UserProfile%\Start Menu\Programs\Windows Media Player.lnk" DEL "%AllUsersProfile%\Start Menu\Programs\Windows Movie Maker.lnk" RD /S /Q %systemdrive%\drivers\ RD /S /Q %systemdrive%\apps\ EXIT Ideas? 3) Last but not least, I have some probs with files copied over from the $OEM$/$PROGS dir. They become read only and hence Agent won't run as it needs to amend files. I think it is also not picking up my Drivers folders as my Radeon Omega drivers are not being installed and neither are Monitor drivers. I think I am just lucky most of my hardware is quite common and included in WinXP driver base. I have WinNT.sif including [Unattended] UnattendSwitch = Yes OemPreinstall = Yes Thanks for any helpful ideas offered. I have spent lots of time reading and I think I have learned a lot of good stuff here, not just about Unattended Installs but about customising Windows with Reg hacks and so on. I could see me spending FAR too much time here!!!
