You can use UltraUXThemePatcher instead. UxStyle doesn‘t work for me either. I have to agree MB's theme bypass works better then anything else out there, I am using UXStyle at the moment but it seems buggy and allot of the time it wont let me change theme unless I do a reboot, if I could use BM's signature bypass method I would, it's just a shame he removed all these features from the early builds even though they were working perfectly when using the old LoadAppInit_DLLs which I am still using in the 1.0 version anyway. Reboot? Just restart UnsignedThemes service and try to apply the theme.

Try to change the task to run at user logon, not at system startup. Any changes?

DWM is not restarted when enabling glass, nice. Can you add arguments to aerohost.exe to enable/disable glass without restarting DWM? That would be great.

Removing the text in title bar and setting "TextGlowMode" to 0x0 will cause this --REMOVED PICTURE-- The frames are invisible and the caption buttons are messed up. Setting "TextGlowMode" to 0x3 will solve the problem Removed the text in titlebar with this

The one I ported for Win8 works with 8.1 but you have to use SIB+ to fix the jumplist. I won't port it to 8.1, sorry...

Did you created the dword value "DisableGlassOnBattery" with data 0x0 here HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\DWM ?

When you finish this I recommend you to create a control panel extension like Stardock Fences... Add options like Enable/Disable transparency, reflection intensity etc... It would be great!

Same problem. When using TeamViewer the desktop goes crazy.

That's because Vista had a stronger reflection image, you can open the DWMGlass.dll and replace the png image with the one from Vista attached. Awesome, thank you! --edit-- Still looks different than vista/windows7 stripes, the distance between them, dunno...

This is how the stripes should look, In DWMGlass are slightly larger.
