This is an Aero Glass for Win8 related issue, not the GUI. Be sure you are using the latest version of Aero Glass for Win8: http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/161788-aero-glass-for-win8-rc4/

Thanks for the explanation. Sorry if I did not carefully read all the questions posed by other users, I only remember reading that 8.1 is using DirectX 11 instead of DirectX 10 although I read most posts here since February :/

What's the difference between Win8.1 and Win8 implementations? ie why not using an exe file for win8 too / not a dll for win8.1?

Moreover, it does not prevent users from reporting issues encountered when using Aero Glass for Win8, that's even the opposite, it allows to test it on a daily basis: that's a release candidate after all.

Lol it reminds me of when bigmuscle changed the buttons on his dialog boxes (previews 2 & 3) just because I was autoclicking them with AGTweaker. Anyway, good job, upgraded my old v0.7 to RC3, and total respect I read your code and hardly understood half of it

Yes that's what I intend to do.

On this screenshot, this is the tweaked custom resource I made wich is included with AGTweaker. It's a mix of Win8 Release Preview theme and Windows 7 Aero theme. Link is provided below in my signature. bigmuscle, keep going for the final version you're almost there!

Yes, If DWM gets killed too often (for example by clicking Apply in AGTweaker more than 3 times per minute) you will be disconnected from your windows account and will have to log in again. I'm also fine with ByteHacker's modifications to AGTweaker, I purposely provided the source code so that anyone can play with -- As long as it respects the CDDL license (credits, open source if modded version is published).

Nice work. Note that you could have done a separate app that would call AGTweaker.exe with -enable or -disable argument. This way if I provide an update to AGTweaker your tool will still work

You may use the theme that come with AGTweaker if you wish.
