Crash you had happens in spool32 which is excluded from KernelEx. There were no core changes between RC4 and RC5 either. Please elaborate on your problem: * does problem occurs with KernelEx installed in 'disable by default' mode? * how bad is hang and what it seems to be caused from (message loop, high cpu usage, i/o, windows drawing, etc) * does problem happen with spoolss.dll from winme? * if you decide problem is surely RC5 specific, try RC5 with kernelex.dll from RC4.

You can hex-edit and change capGetDriverDiscriptionW to capGetDriverDiscriptionA and capCreateCaptureWindowW to capCreateCaptureWindowA and MagicJack will start but won't work properly (error connecting to servers).

CharlesF, Pari_IT, other ppl having printer problems, please give us your printer drivers. It's more like Epson related (CharlesF has Epson drivers too). We don't have Epson printers (nor problems with our printers) so if problem won't be seen in drivers statically, the only option left will be to test all revisions between RC4 and RC5. Thanks.

Thanks for the file. If anyone else wants RP translation, you need to supply .lng translations (ansi) and .dll translations (unicode). There's no point in attaching translations strings here (like gerislamico did) since i'm unable to use them in right codepage. RP9 still lacks proper documentation, has some architecture flaws which require much more time than i have.

I'm very sorry to heard about this. I see that RP9 has serious problems due to bad documentation. Now how to fix this? I guess by installing IE6; i don't know how taskbar works with IE5.5. You can also try to delete all taskbar settings. To do that, delete "Taskbar" & "Toolbars" values from HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Streams\Desktop. Make sure they're not recreated and hard-restart explorer.

Nope, it works even without RP9. Before RC2 it worked only with RP9. Ensure it's clearly RP related (and happens in minimal RP installation?). Also wipe Vlc folder in Application Data. Post drwatson log then. :>

VLC shouldn't be affected by RP9. I always use both. DriveSort won't work since it uses physical drive access. Will look into Harmony Cartridge. Also there is some progress in making major apps run. Stay tuned.
