Ok, here we go. Taskbar skinning! http://startisback.com/StartIsBackPlusPlus_setup.exe StartIsBack++ adds back support for Taskbar2Composited::TaskBar skin part support for lite and full msstyles. Included Windows 7 skin now comes with Windows 7 taskbar background.

I don't see themeable taskbar in Start10. Texture is not skinning. Show me where it looks good.

Because you got new OS. ++1.1.7 fixes that.

That would be great but unfortunately it's not possible within current SIB loading mechanism. I may create a separate tool for this.

Search part of SIB didn't change since Win7.

Now that's a bummer.

You have to shift-click Shut down options menu button and select 'Advanced startup'.

The fix to not animate start menu with 'Animate window minimize and maximize' off is uploaded in ++1.1.5. I guess I would add a registry key for those who don't like sliding; there have been no complaints yet.

That's an interesting area to dig in, however skinning just for sake of skinning is not my cup of tea. Most taskbar drawing is now hardcoded and not so easy to change. There are some enhancements Windows taskbar utterly lacks which I would like to see, so I hope we would see some.
