++1.2.1 is released as I've finally got new signature

I do have working `W8` start screen and `W10 beta` start menu, however, they won't be released. The guts have been cut in Redstone and before that they were incompatible with newer live tile formats.

Why this fails is unfortunately unreproduceable here. Is there anything about it in Event Viewer?

I can't reproduce this behavior, unfortunately. That's something screwed up on search side. Can you open this items with Cortana search?

Well installer can't write to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{c71c41f1-ddad-42dc-a8fc-f5bfc61df957} subkeys. Please try changing ownership of keys and subkeys to yourself.

That's unheard; try uninstalling StartIsBack first.

It should still work if you don't have FILLCOLOR property.

Explorer should not restart, if you see it crash, please provide a crash dump or info. I'll try to fix other things, maybe I've screwed up colors a bit, naming skins will help.

Some properties from them will be used as fallback (composited, hottracking color?) only for compatibility for current skins. All properties must reside in StartPanelComposited::StartPanelPriv, it makes no sense to spill them - other parts were used to behave like Win7, but they're no longer in aero.msstyles. PandaX may just include definition of those parts into Win10 classmaps from Win7.
