  1. @ArcticFoxie, how does this effect the final builds ?
  2. @ArcticFoxie , thanks , you are correct about the dev tools , no translate errors. changing the minimum font size in settings is responsible for the spacing. anything above 13 and that happens and i need it to be set at 14. (browser restart required to test) qr code popup shows for me in a first run unpacked copy of v13.5-b2 but i don't mind. don't even own a smart phone ... agree with renaming back to "Share Page" is best. looking forward to the final build. as for the lockups you posted in another thread , i have yet to see that happen after almost two weeks using v13.5. i close the browser many times a day and don't keep browser sessions or tabs. for me the browser always starts with a new empty tab and i just use bookmarks. even if i would get that once in a while , i still prefer v13.5 over v12. websites are "evolving" fast so i think chrome 86 vs 78 is better. however , anyone should use a version that suits their needs , be it v11 , 12 or 13. another reason for me why i prefer v13.5 is that i can crash v12.0.1247 rebuild 8 on html5test. (clean profile , just tested again) may take me a minute or two but it does and with v13.5 i can not. with that result i can not trust v12 to be stable and not crash during random browsing. as you can not replicate this , maybe it is just me or my xp install. screenshot added for v12.0.1247-8. instant crash on just loading the page this time.
  3. about the "feature disabled" , it is not , just the name change. still generates the qr-code popup for me. (qr-code never shown) maybe just rename it to original and leave it alone. (not worth your time i think) there is another non working function in v13.5 and v13.2206 , audio mute in the statusbar. also does not matter. found some translation "errors" in (F12) dev tools / settings. most are in experiments but also in preferences , spacings where there should not be. ("allow custom ui them es" for example) not present in v13.2206-5 or v13.2206-4 (default profile) you said you wanted v13.5 to be the same as v13.2206 ... personally it does not bother me but i said i would test.
  4. thanks for the almost final ! all issues i mentioned are resolved. (the one context menu item excluded) gave it a good test run and can not fault it. no surprise for me there after running all the alpha builds as default from day one.
  5. the default browser setting "clear selections every exit" is not checked by default. DirRemove=%Profile%\Default\Cache is in the loader so the cache is deleted anyway on exit.
  6. the russians sure did leave a lot of links in the dll. removing telemetry in all latest builds has not affected anything on my end. no unwanted connections with a now empty hosts file. stable as always for the last 11 days. (not a single crash , dep enabled with 360chrome not excluded)
  7. you know that i did not get a good daytime nap for weeks now , do you ...
  8. "Extension State depends on which extensions used" got that , learning as i go. added this for now to the default ini: FileDelete=%Profile%\Default\Extension State\*.log FileDelete=%Profile%\Default\Local Extension Settings in the extended ini has folder entry's i don't even have. will go with the dafault ini for now , modified for my use as intended. now off to run the new A9. no news is good news. grtz.
  9. thanks. did edit that ini for not removing cookies and saw no other problems using it. will have to think about what to use after some tests.
  10. no problem. few questions. 360Chrome\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extension State\ , the log file size increases over time. can delete and will be recreated on next run at a small size without issues. any info on that please ? second , v13.2206-4 has an extended loader.ini that takes care of the above and more. any disadvantage in using that over the default ini in v13.5.1030 ? third , does the extended ini needs any modifications for use in v13.5.1030 ? if so , could you post a new one please or send it in a pm ?
  11. noticed the change in the extension manager. DirRemove=%Profile%\Default\File System not set in the loader.ini yet. share page (qr code) on right click still there and non functional. (option not present in v13.2206) otherwise no issues or changes found. tested v13.2206-5 against html5test again just for "fun", crashed in under 5 seconds. alpha 8 still stable here with the default or my profile. (day 10 after starting with the ru beta version) and with regards to the cert issue on xp (reported working with the minibrowser build by Humming Owl in another thread). minibrowser (besides having other problems) just hides the red https padlock and shows "cert valid" clicking the lock icon. inspect further and it will show that it is actually not. build v11.2031-4 shows green https padlocks , but on page / property it will also show invalid. don't know why later versions show the red padlock but the mentioned v11 only provides a false sense of cert security. chromium based browser on xp just do not work with ecc certificates and some other newer ones. no way around that , not even with the cert updater 1.6.
  12. suggestion to add in the default alpha 360loader.ini. DirRemove=%Profile%\Default\File System this folder is created after a download from mega.nz on download complete that folder stays as large as the downloaded decrypted file. this would prevent several issues : profile migration , more static 360 folder size and future problems for users with small drive partitions.
  13. think telemetry removal should be last on the priority list in the alpha build updates. no strange outgoing connections at this point using your hosts file entry's. maintaining stability should remain first priority.
  14. nice indeed. always good to have options. gave it a good test run. certificate errors still there (just hidden) , some site problems (back / forward results in a blank page) and other small issues not present in 13.5.1030. also don't like the settings interface but that is personal. will choose v13.5.1030 over this Kafan version any time. this is not a portable , user data is in windows local settings. great work though getting this running on xp.
  15. note to self : use default ini and don't add "DirRemove=%Profile%\Default\IndexedDB" it will corrupt the profile and causes some sites not to load anymore such as (example) deezer.com/us replaced with folder from working alpha 4 , lesson learned. as for alpha 6 : can see where this is going. nice cleanup in the settings and stable as alpha 1 and the ru version i ran 2 days before.
  16. saw no obvious changes in alpha 5. however , discovered a bug that started with alpha 3 (also present in a4 and a5) not present in original ru version and a1 and a2. settings / advanced / nocoin. changing that option on / off displays a chinese popup that you need to click on the right button to confirm. (ru , a1 , a2) version a3 and up do not display that popup anymore. changing that nocoin setting (on / off) locks the browser. only way to close is in the task manager. tested with first run default profile and ini.
  17. as chrome by default does not offer to store passwords for sites with a red padlock i now use this. https://keepass.info/download.html freeware , portable offline password manager that runs on xp sp3. chose version keepass v1.39 portable. newer version seem to offer browser integration and also require dotnet. both things i don't want or need. importing passwords from new moon 28 did not work for me. (added them manually) has a search function with options to copy user and password and can open sites from the program. with 360chrome now set as default that combo works just perfect for me. maybe useful for some ...
  18. sneaky i do appreciate the heads up when changes are made to those files. finally found what prevented me from seeing the spinning dots when loading html5test. it is my custom style sheet to reduce maximum font size to 14px. am now running with you default ini. deleted --disable-webgl and added DirRemove=%Profile%\GrShaderCache tested with my profile and all good.
  19. good that you report changes to the exe and / or chrome files ! tested against html5test , for me still THE site to test 360chrome stability. (with default profile and ini) with that page i can crash all 360 versions except your v11. only difference is in properties / description of the 360chrome.exe. (no more squares shown) seems stable. no more news on 13.5-a4 from me is good news ...
  20. nice ! still stable. noticed some changes , looking good. grtz.
  21. understand , more work ... screenshot of the download window.
  22. had a look at the en-us pak file. so that's where the text is. 4313 objects unpacked , that is indeed a staggering amount of work. copied the en-us pack from v13.2206-5 to v13.5-2 and look what that does. whole is menu now in bold fonts. will not keep this , just curious enough to test.
