i stand corrected. bookmark folder icons are the same color compared to the xp skin. had a good look , this time with my glasses on ... the gray text "issue" remains. maybe that is somehow tied with the now gray text on inactive tabs.

thank you sir ! very nice skin indeed with the icon padding fixed. still gray text on a folder in the bookmark bar with a less bright yellow color icon compared to the xp skin. expanded folders placed inside that new folder appear bright yellow with black text. also gray text in bookmark icons with text if that can't be changed i will get used to that. regards.

QuotaManager file is in the profile , QuotaManager-journal is not , both are not in the ini. DirRemove=%Profile%\Default\IndexedDB\http_*,https_* does not work. edit : i have no extensions that use the IndexedDB folder. have now added DirRemove=%Profile%\Default\IndexedDB to the loader.ini.

subfolders don't always have the same name. deezer.com and youtube for example create them. but recently some random page dumped 50 mb in it's own subfolder. https://msfn.org/board/topic/182993-360-extreme-explorer-arcticfoxie-versions/?do=findComment&comment=1208905 "For now, I'm just adding a line in the loader .ini to delete-on-exit http_* and https_* folders that are now being collected in this folder."

i want to keep the IndexedDB folder. want to delete the subfolders only.

how to auto delete subfolders in the IndexedDB folder on 360chrome exit ? in the 360loader.ini : DirRemove=%Profile%\Default\IndexedDB\*.* does not work.

"drag and drop" the .crx file to 360Chrome with the extensions page ( chrome://extensions ) open.

with this setting to enabled it would slow down page load. settings / advanced : Enable automatic translation have this disabled here and do not notice any real world speed increase. don't do benchmarks ... my vote is for keeping the translate option.

that is not what i meant. don't want give you more work to do. i meant , only if there are other changes in both files besides the 155.json and the ttps://translate........... modifications. i could then provide uploads with modified files for members that request it. just need to know when to redo the work.

found no page load speed increase when browsing with the translate portion changed. at least there now is a way to reverse if NHTPG removes all in his ungoogled version. if one tests the ie compat mode on some site , do not forget to change back to chrome mode. the setting is remembered for each site separate. reload page after change.

would be nice to know if resources.pak and / or chrome.dll modifications are needed with every new file. for updated link on date only and on build version update please. it would make the "upgrades" for "regoogled" users more convenient. your instructions are clear but may not be for all users.

have seen that before , never tried it. modified the extension "change all UI fonts 1.4.2.0.crx" here after install. changed in foo.js : divNode.innerHTML = '<style>*:not(span):not(i):not(.fa):not(button){font-family:' + fontname + to : divNode.innerHTML = '<style>*:not(i):not(.fa){font-family:' + fontname + don't remember why though ...

@ rikafurudae and others interested ... for web content i use this : change all UI fonts 1.4.2.0.crx https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/change-all-ui-fonts/loiejdbcheeiipmakhghinclmpafiiel or here : https://www.crx4chrome.com/crx/57736/ after install open the settings and change "undefined" to Arial Black for example. (click save ) reload page to see the effect. to reverse : remove your custom font from the settings and save. all will be at chrome default again.

sites all seems to work with just the 2 modifications. will run with it for a while and store the chrome.dll with all restored somewhere safe. thanks.

just beat me to it ... found the two that are needed only. will i notice anything with the other 47 left disabled ? and there are also the gstatic entries ... in short , should i use my chrome.dll with all changed or the one i just changed with only the two mods ?

some square characters found. how to see : create a new folder in the bookmarks bar. now delete that folder.

just additional info for those who like to test dark mode. could not find any info on this in the other threads. paste in address bar : chrome://flags/#enable-force-dark set to enable and relaunch.

thanks. after two restarts it now works as previously posted. with your resources.pak (5.520.924 bytes , 155.json replaced ) and my modified chrome.dll. complicated ...

ok. already repacked the resources.pak file with the 155.json regular file. replaced the chrome.dll with my modified one. copied the user data folder over and all is fine. so i now have the 360ChromePortable_13.5.2022_rebuild_2_regular_MSFN i guess. edit. translate to english broken with the regular 155.json and chrome.dll replacement. something must have changed in the 13.5.2022 r2 other files. will have a closer look ... edit. found it. using the googled resources.pak file from mixit solved the issue. something other then the 155.json file must have changed to break the "translate to english" function.

hello NotHereToPlayGames , good to see the new thread. can we expect a v13.5.2022 regular and ungoogled version as before ? you know i modified the ungoogled chrome.dll back to regular and would like to keep "Translate to English". also nice to see that the win 10 skin is still in play.

v13.5.2022. xp skin vs win 10 skin bookmark icons and text screenshots. xp skin has square bookmark icon boxes and black text on the folder. win 10 skin has rectangle bookmark icon boxes ( icons not placed in middle of the box ) and gray text on the folder. so the icons are ok just not the placing. ( visible when hovering over the icon ) 12 bookmark icons in both screenshots , compare the total width against the 2 tabs below. besides the gray text on the folder , the folder icon color is also less bright.

@ NHTPG , tested 13.5.2022 ungoogled with the win 10 skin on a friends pc with win 11. ran the 360loader directly from usb. (very slow load) the result was that while loading 360chrome the bookmark icons and the text color are fine. after a few seconds , the bookmark icons "shrank" to the left and the text turned to gray. maybe something in the skin_config.xml file. will stay with the xp skin.
