Hey all, I want to take a PC off of a domain network but want to make sure the user still has their profile, desktop links are still there. I'm afraid that if I just change the login type I will lose all of their stuff.

I'm 40, in the US Army and don't do "warez". Well it ended up he kept my money and I got nothing. So, do others have to suffer for what this guy did, yes. We learn from life experiences. This is one of them, sorry. Are you somehow affiliated with eMax?

There was not downtime yesterday. Strange, I was getting DNS failures for about 5 hours I would guess. Guess it was on my end then.

No. I had talk to the eMax guys when you had first changed but that turned out to be a no go. They said they don't have phone support for customer service. Well that didn't site well with me so I past it by. Then I notice there was some down time yesterday and wondered if the service had changed or somthing was wrong. Guess you were just relocating.

I just did a P4 3.06 about 4 months ago. May not do anything until the P5s.

I gotta ask ya, with all those fans in there it has to run cool. But, how loud is it? I've got two 80s in the front cooling HDD, one 80 in the back pulling out hot air, and one 80 on the top also pulling out hot air. The thing is all of these make less noise then the factory P4 Intel fan.

Yup, I overclocked the memory and the core on the 9800 pro. It was the fastest I could get it go without losing stability on the video. All of this was done with stock cooling and artic silver. I, like you, dream of going to the land of H2O cooling someday. I think it would be nice to get 3.5 or 3.8 out of it stable. If you do some H2O stuff please post it.

I'm not a fanboy, but my 9800 pro works well. Carmack also said he had to had a some front end code for the Nv 5900 that would make it do low then 32 bit since it runs so slow on Doom III.

What brand is that power supply? It might be rated for 500 watts but not put that much out. I think Tom's did a study on power supplies. Most never even come close the advertised power rating. I believe Antec has one of the highest ratings in power supplies. You might find out that the stock 500 watt power supply is waste of your time and money. -Cuervo

Did you get the new gear yet? I've been running a P4 3.06 with the Intel retail fan and Artic Silver for some time now. It runs right at 136f at idle. I think it ran a couple of degrees cooler with the Intel grease that came with the CPU. If I were you, I would try the Artic Silver first. Then run the stuff that came with the CPU if it is the factory Intel grease to see if it runs cooler with it.
