  11. Let me explain. To change the color you have to edit a few hex pairs. To edit the postion of the progress bar you have to chane the source code. Since Microsoft will never release the source code, you can not chane the position.
  12. All that you need in your cd is the directory i386 and all the files in the base directory. You can add the drivers to your cd using nlite. The svcpck, is usually the stuff to install updates. But if you want an xp with sp2 you should remove svcpck before slipstreaming sp2 into the cd. Check out nlite.
  13. You can try deleting: docs hp PRELOAD support TOOLS valueadd. Also delete svcpck.ini in i386 and the folder svcpck in i386

  21. Because if windows thinks it has run we don't have to slipstream it into our cds and windows update wo't bug us either.
  22. Aw that solution i submitted to ryanvm, check his forum. Anyway your solution is incomplete. This is what you have to add to your reg file. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\RemovalTools] "MydoomTool"="OK" [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell]
  23. I tested it out and it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. add this to a reg file Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\RemovalTools] "MydoomTool"="OK" [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell] Then my windows update will no longer prompt for mydoom removal tool. As an inf [Version] signature="$CHICAGO$" [DefaultInstall] AddReg=mydoom.ADDreg DelReg=mydoom.DELREG [Mydoom.AddReg] HKLM,"SOFTWARE\Microsoft\RemovalTools","MydoomTool",0,"OK" [Mydoom.DelReg] HKLM,"Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell"
