  1. Wow you really like them foxes... Well made, but overkill for me...
  2. There's no way to set default to "always hide" as far as I know, but you can set not to show any icons at all...
  3. Any way to add a toggle Show hidden files and folders context menu in Norwegian?
  4. That is verry weird, I get the msi dialog right after clicking the "install" button.
  5. FeTT!: There is no way as of the current version of DiVX 6.1.1, only way is with AutoIt or similar.
  6. MHz: Ahh sorry, I though you compiled Well then it's just a matter of wha you preferre
  7. Well I really don't think its your winnt.sif. I would try remake a clean CD with ONLY your source hologram XP cd with winnt.sif and testrun before you add ANYTHING and see what happens.
  8. Thanks this cleared things up for me. I also found out how to disable, and then also remove the button to the "lookup extension" (dont know exact what its called in english), through .reg.. (the winrar like icon button). [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\Settings\{92780B25-18CC-41C8-B9BE-3C9C571A8263}] "Flags"=dword:00000001 "Version"="*"
  9. Powerhouse; I find my blocklist better as you can in most cases view the webpage but it is still secured and the system slowdown is non-existant or minimal (compared to hostfile). Also with my file try enter a website like www.astalavista.com, a site which would normally have alot of popups, coockies etc... You can view the page fine, but no popups or coockies are sent... (note that the particlar domain you are entering are not in the blocklist, although the poup ad and coockies domains are). I find using the blocklist extremly convenient, as its a fast way to secure your system without stealing resources, and even with no antispyware installed you will have a pretty nice basic security while browsing. amit_talkin: Thank you!
  10. Uhm thats for 2.46 yes, I'm perfectly aware. ..Try update your software to the version the topic is asking about and you will have some problems using that swtich.
  11. Hmm, basicly what your saying is that the following key need to be exported? [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar]
  12. What is the cause of the recently frequent downtime?
  13. And the question is..... What regkey('s) do I export to capture my IE toolbar layout? I'd like to remove some rather annoying buttons that are extremly rarely used, like the "lookup" button.
  14. RogueSpear: Actually it is

    MCE billboard

Anyone want to design an MCE setup billboard style? Would be nice to carry out the MCE "theme" throughout the complete installation. (Should be pretty similar to logon screen I guess)
  16. It really shouldnt make any difference. I have no idea why it does not work, it seems correct. I wouldnt think winnt.sif is the problem. Maybe you install some drivers for your NICs during setup or similar that resets computername?
  17. Yep, I actually already prepped a file like that as a "last resort" hehe But couldn't this be done a bit smoother, like add another RunOnceEx entry where I would normally have the cleanup commands run, that runs the same batch? Would look a bit better, and if it would work reg entries would also apply. What do you think?
  18. They are run after WPI, im guessing that is after RunOnceEx. They are run when desktop and all is loaded and waiting for final reboot.
  19. I'm having problems deleting some files and shortcuts, as they reappear after final reboot. (If I remove after final reboot, they will not reappear). e.g removing favourites will not stick. for /d %%g in ("%UserProfile%\Favoritter\*") do rd /s /q "%%g" for %%g in ("%UserProfile%\Favoritter\*") do del /f /q "%%g" Any ide how to solve this?
  20. Solved it with AutoIt.
  21. I'm having problems installing Logitech SetPoint v2.47 for my MX 1000 laser mouse, im using -s switch, but mid-instal the .msi switch dialog appears!? (and halts installation).... Any idea? I'm kinda stuck...
  22. I would indeed imagine that the reduction of performance is extremly minimal if any at all, and the benefit of having the domains blocked would excess the minimal performance reduction...
  23. I'm guessing he is stripping the source quite alot
