  9. Hello! Like you, I've don't find explainations about "Computer description" for the "Autounattend.xml" file. However I use this reg file: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 ; Computer description [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\LanmanServer\Parameters] "srvcomment"="myselfidem's PC" Cheers
  10. Once done (the two files .msi and the reg file), if you want, you can create an SFX module, with an "config.txt", like this: config.txt ;!@Install@!UTF-8! GUIMode="2" RunProgram="regedit /s TuneUp.reg" RunProgram="283e1.msi /qn" RunProgram="283e5.msi /qn" ;!@InstallEnd@! You can find help here: 7z SFX Modified Module and Tools General information about the modified module Works really fine! Cheers *Edit: I've made an little French guide: 7z SFX Module Modifié et Outils with an example for TuneUp Utilities 2010 Enjoy!
  11. Hello! 1) At first install TuneUp Utilities 2010. If you want to install TuneUp Utilities 2010 unattended, you can find the msi files inside: C:\Windows\Installer 2) The folder is hidden. You must first display folders hidden and you can find the two msi installer for TuneUp 2010. 3) In my case for French language the files are: 283e1.msi for French language and 283e5.msi for the installer msi TuneUp 2010, last version 9.0.4700.24. 4) Copy/paste these two files and your reg file (save only this one inside: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TuneUp\Utilities\9.0]) with your key, name, etc. (TuneUp.reg), and create a bath file, but if you want to keep the installation with your language install first the language msi file! TuneUp.cmd (example: folder inside C:\TUNEUP2010) @echo off REGEDIT /S "C:\TUNEUP2010\TuneUp.reg" start /Wait msiexec.exe /i "C:\TUNEUP2010\283e1.msi" /qn start /Wait msiexec.exe /i "C:\TUNEUP2010\283e5.msi" /qn exit Now you can integrate your folder "TuneUp 2010" inside your Windows 7 DVD unattended! You can also inject this reg file to have always Elevated Privileges for msi files: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Installer] "AlwaysInstallElevated"=dword:00000001 I've tried successfuly and all works fine and is in French language! Enjoy!
  12. I'm really sorry winterstorm, because I see I've made an error, my bad! I've installed my reg file (but command MS-DOS) inside Tweaks section. The option "runonce", with the batch file with "REG ADD"... works inside OOBE section! You can add your new reg file customized inside the section "Tweaks" and this one will be copied inside your Windows 7 source (%systemdrive%\Windows\System32\Custom_reg.reg). Of course it's possible to use "runonce" inside OOBE section, but it's more simple to add reg files with the option "Tweaks"! Sorry...I will update the guide about this question!! Regards *Edit: Explanations fixed for "runonce.bat" and "Tweaks" (same link for the guide) Useful to add inside "Autounattend.xml": </settings> <settings pass="offlineServicing"> <component name="Microsoft-Windows-LUA-Settings" processorArchitecture="x86" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <EnableLUA>false</EnableLUA> </component> </settings> The "runonce.bat" works properly with administrator rights, like it's explained inside the guide for "ADD REG"! Regards
