Unattended Installation of MS Office2007 (H & S Edition)
myselfidem replied to ravisunny2's topic in Microsoft Office
Hello! You can find some help here: And here: You can try also the Search inside the forum! -
Oh! OK. I understand now! I've tried the new "config.js" and works fine for me on my computer with Windows XP SP3 (spain language of course!)
-
@nanitoboy At first you can save a copy of your "config.js"! After, just place your older "config.js" inside the folder "WPI" (8.1.0)and Start- Launch "WPI.exe inside the folder WPI! Your file will be updated and you will be able to see and modify your installation's file! Just an advice: You need to choose to install either Office 2003 or Office 2007, and not install together, you will get errors! Here is your modded file updated with WPI 8.1.0 Regards
-
@wazer At this time with RT Se7en Lite 1.4.0 RC, you can customize your "Autounattend.xml" file if you want to have an fully unattended installation! When RT Se7en Lite has finished don't create an ISO file immediatly! You can customize the "Autounattend.xml" with WSIM or use a one you have and working fine! Save the new "Autounattend.xml" inside your folder where is located your Windows 7 customized, and delete the old one or rename it! It's recommanded do not use: And use this batch file (make changes needed!) to create the ISO file (example: x86): WAIK for Windows 7 is installed on the computer. @echo off echo. "C:\Program Files\Windows AIK\Tools\x86\oscdimg.exe" -u2 -m -o -lWin7 -b"C:\Win7\boot\etfsboot.com" "C:\Win7" "C:\Win7.iso" echo. echo ==Finished execution== echo. echo ==Press any key to exit==&pause>nul Your Windows 7 installation will be fully unattended! Regards

Hello nanitoboy! No it's correct! The older versions working with WPI.hta inside WPI path; and RunWPI.exe inside the folder $OEM$. It's now different for the latest version. Read carefully the instructions for the installation with Windows XP! Regards
-
Hello! Thank you very much waser for the layout and the infos! I've found some help but I can't install the Quick Launch. I will try again! Regards
-
Hello! Don't worry nanitoboy about your English, mine isn't so good! If you need to activate the buttons, you must open the script:"useroptions.js" and write:true --------------------------------------- You must set your folders like this: CDXP (example:name of the folder where is located your Windows XP) inside: $OEM$ DOCS SETUP.EXE I386 SUPPORT VALUEADD WPI SETUP.EXE BOOTFONT.BIN cmpnents AUTORUN.INF WIN51 WIN51IP WIN51IP.SP2 WIN51IP.SP3 And inside $OEM$ Set "cmdlines.txt" and "RunWPI.exe" ------------------------------------------ Applications needs .NET Frameworks installed first! Sometimes .NET Framework 1.1 is also riquiered! To do an silent install for the .NET Frameworks you can find some help here: Silent NET Maker I've tried many time and works fine! ------------------------------------------- Maybe the problem is you are using WPI 6.5.1 with WPI Scripts for another version!? Check! The order is important and figure follow, it's better (1,2,3,4,5,6,etc.)! Maybe you can use the release WPI 8.1.0, but read the description for Windows XP for correct install! Regards
-
Thanks! 1) Don't add spaces inside the name of your folders:"CodecPacks y reproductores"!;"Windows Installer 3.1",etc. 2) Check the order: the order isn't good: missing:2 and 3! 3) You can't install "Office 2003" with "Office 2007". You will get errors! 4) You can rename the files, with short names (example): "Combined-Community-Codec-Pack-2009-09-09.exe" like this:"CCCP.exe" 4) Install "Kaspersky Antivirus" at last You can see sample config here: Sample config WPI I hope that will help you! Asta la vista

Hello! Could you post as attachment your file "config.js", located inside: %systemdrive%\(your folder location: CDXP or other name)WPI\WPIScripts\config.js"? You can also use Sun VirtualBox for testing (it's faster!): VirtualBox Thanks
-
Yes you don't need to add these lines inside "WINNT.SIF".
-
Hello! Put the WPI folder inside the location where you have Windows XP (example: C:\CDXP)(at the root of your folder)! Put RunWPI.exe inside $OEM$. And write at the end inside "cmdlines.txt": RunWPI.exe It will be not copied on your harddrive! As example: When you download the folders WPI and $OEM$, all is made and you just have to put the "cmdlines.txt" already write and RunWPI.exe inside $OEM$. Regards

Quick Launch - Finally the solution!
myselfidem replied to Orsi's topic in Unattended Windows 7/Server 2008R2
@Orsi Hello Maybe the reason is the "space" inside the reg file you've posted! [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ Streams\Desktop] The good one: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Streams\Desktop] And,of course if we copy/paste this one with Notepad, don't work. I will try and I tell you! Regards *Edit You can see that with the line I give, it's the same problem! It seems tere is a problem with the editor inside the Forum. It's needed to check the reg file after copy! Thanks -
Hello Max! I've made a new successfuly test on Sun VirtualBox! I keep all the Images and I chose Windows 7 ULTIMATE (install.wim 5) boot.wim 2 is mounted and unmounted and commit successfuly! Add Modded Files + backgrounds: 1- spwizimg.dll 2- imageres.dll 3- FirstUXRes.WIM 5- background_cli.bmp All works perfectly! Regards
-
still needed boot.wim mods. Ran a vm and without modify I get the yuck MS image back Hello Max! I've made an complete test, with a new clean copy Windows 7 x86 DVD, but I chose inside: Modded files + Setup backgrounds: 1- spwizimg.dll 2- imageres.dll 3- FirstUXRes.WIM Successfuly integrated 3 files. When I click "OK", Se7en_UA execute "mount boot.wim 2" and after "unmount" the command window says that it's successful! I've not delete the unwanted Images. Of course "background_cli.bmp" wasn't modded because I don't chose one, and I don't try it! Maybe if a user choose to keep only one Image (install.wim 5) and Se7en_UA delete all the others Images, "install.wim 5" will be "install.wim 1" and the dll's aren't integrated!? Works fine for me! I need to try now with add "background_cli.bmp". The first and second step have same images! And Logon screen is modded (imageres.dll)! Regards
