  1. Probably yes. @TheMightySpud You aren't doing any stupid. It is just a bug in 7C. I think that you are using a modified windows installation source. Try to use an untouched installation source. Regards Wow, best news 2011!!!^^
  2. I will not release the source code until there is someone ready to take the development of 7Customizer. Which I think, I will have the chance nowadays to continue. Regards So you would be able to continue:) ?
  3. Newer version of the same KB might be: Old: KB12345.exe New: KB12345-V2.exe Im 99% sure you can skip integrateing the old.. And its just like Tripredacus wrote, you probably have several images in that install.wim
  4. You can remove the older versions of the same KB, but when you dismount its not compressed and you have alots of space just like on your harddrive. Just exporting all images to a new *.wim will save you space and decrease the size.
  5. All i kniw is you can split the wim somehow. Tou can delete "alot" from the dvd but not 5 GB i think.
  6. Perhaps beacuse we have 7Lite which can do alot more then just that. But im not sure of it although the toolkit seems interesting i never fully tried it yet.
  7. I think i have all languages for 7600 converted, both 32bit and 64bit, i can probably upload them somewhere if anyone is interested
  8. Uhm what? You start the computer, bios does it works, windows loads, you login.. thats it.
  9. you can have both x86 and amd64 in the same answerfile.. first step: x86 amd64 second x86 amd64 etc..
  10. Well its a sandisk 16GB usbstick, very small thing Ah then I know, thanks for reply:)
  11. Got a smaller question for you:p Do I have to use the tool to formate the usbdrive? I tried beta107 without formating it using the tool (i used windows dduuh) and that didnt work so i tried beta 106 and formatted the drive using the tool and then it did work.
  12. A guide would be more than welcome, thanks alot!
  13. Is anyone willing to take over this project? I believe it needs to be finished! I wish i had some kind of programmingskills but im all out:/ Wow, been member of msfn now for a year and one day
  14. Naah not so much actually. The requirements is for all versions, maybe a GB more in ultimate but not much more than that.
  15. What is the matter with people? If you want to trim down Windows 7, use 7Lite. If you want to trim down Vista use vLite How much is hard to tell, how much do you want to remove?
  16. Ah Windows 7 Starter then I get it... But now I dont get why your using Starter edition, unless its a pretty small ssd and/or a netbook (a softer one)
  17. Ah Windows 7 Starter then I get it... But now I dont get why your using Starter edition, unless its a pretty small ssd and/or a netbook (a softer one)
  18. How can yours only be 6 GB? Its not an unmodified iso/dvd then.. Use 7Lite and strip away what you dont want.
  19. How small is that SSD really?.. use 7Lite instead which is much better for window 7.
  20. You choose yes ofcourse. You have to rebuild the image.
  21. Well if the system came with windows 7 then its easy to perform an anytime upgrade but im not sure if its allowed by msfn rules.
  22. We at MDL Forum have these autounattend.xml files: Files Hm If we want masstorage drivers (downloaded from lets say driverpacks.net) how to have the setup read from that folder without injecting? Is it that <path>%systemdrive%\Drivers\Whereever we have them</path> line above? And how about when installing Windows 7? Does masstorage have to be installed to windows as well or is it only for setup (installed to windows by setup)? Not having drivers injected will save some space on my 7 AIO Hm been looking around myself for a quick while..
