  5. Hello, I am thinking these days to make a second cd of windows Xp the first Cd now is about 667Mb (will all updates + 12 Logons + 18 Themes + 6 Windows Media Player skin + 8 Wallpapers) the 2nd one will have many softwares and MANY cause to me some problems because. I don't want to have all softwares installed. Now i am trying to find a solution. till now i have 3 suggestions : 1) if you can do some programming try to create a programme that will do this but it must be dynamic not each time recompiling it and in order to do this it may depend of INI file that may guide it. 2) Create a Web page that installs the programmes you want but you have to put in mind that Web page need IE and I think you cannot use IE during installation. 3) is to create a cmd file that ask you everytime about the softs you need and if find a solution then i will post it as soon as possible.
  6. thanks for everyone, first of all the problem is on me because i have not made thing clear. first this problem occured 3 times exactl at T-12 and more precisely before MS Virtual machine update starts. a message appears telling may that i don't have enough memory and that some programms may not work properly. in the 1st & 2nd time nothing went wrong but the 3rd time i installed windows neither Windows Messenger 4.7 update nor Windows Messenger 5.0 where installed by the way i cant understand why WIndows messenger 5.0 won't install if Windows Messenger 4.7 is not installed. thanks in advance for everyone.
  7. thanks, but i do not use VMware nor VirtualPC, i tried to install it normaly. however i think the solution is to put PSKiller after each line
  8. Hello everyone, when i install windows xp with all msupdates sometmes I get a message that tells me that i dont have enough virtual memory and that some programs may not work properly. This problem occurs when i try to install windows xp on Computer that have only 128 Mo of Ram but when i install it on a computer that have 386Mo of ram this problem does not appear. When i made looked here and there i suspected that MSI programs may lead to this problem since MSIEXEC.exe stay on memory. so does anyone has an idea ?
