Hello everyone, Please can anyone give me a a web host or ftp host which is FREE with at least 100MB, uploading exe & zips are allowed and finally with at list 1GB of bandwidth per month. I want these web page to host my new tool which is hosted by www.freewebs.com which only give 50MB of space & only 500 MB bandwidth per month. As a general rule, all registry tweaks that are added to HKEY CURRENT USER are applied ONLY to the current user, BUT this rule has some excpetions. Now let me give some explainations about this tool : 1. you have to download your favourits logons & themes (you can find some of them in my website). 2. create thumbnails of them (for better performance thumbnails should be JPG image with a resolution of 145x113 ). 3. run Logons & Visual Styles Script Generator. 4. select your themes & logons with thier thumbnails. 5. you may also customize some infos here and there. 6. click on Generate to create the LOVSC.Ini After this, 1. copy your Themes & their thumbnails to this location %windir%\resources\Themes if you want to try Logons & Visual Styles Changer, if everything went OK then copy your Themes & their thumbnails to this location $OEM$\$$\Resources\Themes in your unattended CD. 2. copy your Logons & their thumbnails to this location %windir%\system32 if you want to try Logons & Visual Styles Changer, if everything went OK then copy your Logons & their thumbnails to this location $OEM$\$$\system32 in your unattended CD. Note : for those who have downloaded this file "LOVSC with description.INI" from my web site they should redownloaded it again because I found a bug on it and I have corrected it now.

Sorry for the delay because I was supposed to publish this topic three weeks ago but I faced some difficulties. Let’s go straight to the topic The idea of creating this tool came to me when I wanted to use multiple logons in windows. At an early stage I had to modify the registry each time to change the logon, then I created a tool that let me change logons, but soon I was faced by another problem which is I had to modify & compile the tool each time whenever I download a new logon or theme that I want to put in my unattended CD. But the encouragements of .::Bâchrat the Sneaky::. & Prathapml helped me to modify this tool to integrate new logon or theme in a dynamic & flexible way. hello everyone, yesterday I was looking for anything new about Service Pack 2 in Microsoft Windows XP web site, and I found that Microsoft inform all who have downloaded SP2 French, Italian & Spanish that Cluf.txt has a mistake (180 day limitation) and that Microsoft will release a KB to correct the problem. I am using a french version of SP2 and I have the same problem.

I don't know where windows in which directory put the service pack since I have windows XP Pro and till now Windows haven't asked me to update my system; and you probably have XP Home. but try to run this apps : %windir%\system32\wuauclt.exe and %windir%\system32\wupdmgr.exe this two apps are normally responsible for updates downloading process

Hello, Try to set Windows Update in control panel to "Notify if there are any updates" and apply then set Windows update again to download & apply updates automaically. By this windows updates may check to see if there are any updates and therefore it will automatically resume the process of updating your system without having to download sp2 manually

Hello, I feel that you are confused between two things Formatting your disk & Using Service Pack 2 Boot Floppy Disks. If you need to format your HDD then the version of Boot disks doesn't matter because they can all format your disk; however, if you want to not only formatting but also install service pack 2 with this boot disks then you should use Service Pack 2 boot disks. finally, if you need other boot disks such as Windows 98 boot disk then click Here
