LoL i know what a Laptop is, but i dont get what u mean , i think u didnt understand my problem . i got an installationerror. the languages havent got anything to do with it. and why should i need to be directly connected to elektricity socket - what does that have to do with windows installation please read my 1st post again !
  2. The error happens when i install from an iso and when i install from harddisk(running windows). Anyone else maybe got an idea?
  3. Hello stuntgp2000 My english is not the best. i dont know what u mean by -laptop relying on battery- and what is AC please? I got a pc atx athlon xp. U said u had the same problem with sp1 a so i think the servicepack causes the problem . But i need it =( thx for your reply
  4. Add: I forgot to say that the hal.dll is missing in the system32 folder. But it is always there - i tried to copy the file from my current running windows xp sp2 but still get the error when i reboot... mfg
  5. Hello! I got the nLite 0.98.6. Beta - i think it is the newest. When i try to install a nlite slipstream sp2 Windows xp cd i always get the same error: when rebooting after setupboot it always says "hal.dll missing or corrupted. I tried it with windows home ed and prof ed. incl sp 1 - the home edition is the original cd. I also tried not to delete anything but the languages but still i get exactly the same error. . I What could it be? I searched the forum and there was nothing... Can someone plz help me? java script:add_smilie("") welcome.gif
