Have u tried applying the latest patches to FMA? Use the internal webupdate feature (Under the help menu, as 'check for updates' or similar.) to download and install the latest patches. Then see if it detects ur phone.

Dunno about the Nokia PC Suite..but to synchronize between the PC and the cell phone, try Float's Mobile Agent. It's a great application (FREE!) which lets u transfer files, archive messages, set alarms and more. You can also reply to SMS messages by typing the reply in ur comp itself. And best of all, it turns ur bluetooth cell into a remote control..great when u want to watch a movie on ur comp and cant be nothered to get up to play/pause and change volume! Hey...finally got the solution to the problem...and u dont even need the Bluetooth Device icon on Control Panel for this! 1) If u use Bluesoleil, open the application and create a virtual serial port connection with ur BT phone. Note the COM port used for the virtual connection. 2) Open FMA. Use the internal Web update feature to download and apply the latest patches. Depending on the FMA version u r using, the web update feature should be found under the help meny as 'check for updates' or something similar. 3) After the patches have been applied, in FMA, from the Tools menu, select options. Under the connectivity page, select the COM port noted earlier, and press Lookup device. the phone should be detected. 4) From FMA's File menu, select Connect. FA should now be able to detect and connect to the phone. This is how i did it. Hope this helps. Let me know whether it worked or not.

Would choose to build if i knew how to assemble it. Makes total customization possible, which u dont get with readymade systems!

Does any of these download websites for offline viewing? i didnt see tht feature..and also..it needs to be usable without having to install it..like run right from an .exe file straightaway.

I didnt know that..how can i download sites (including pictures, zip files etc..whatever the site may contain) using portable firefox?

tht's standalone firefox...i need something that can download an entire site so i can view it offline....can firefox do that?

Just stumbled onto this thread..what about standalone offline browsers..the type that can download a website to a hard disk..any one know of one which doesnt require installation?
