I'll try to fix this error for next release. Please note Nero 7.5 is not compatible with Windows 98/ME, cause of missing Activation module. I might try to create a special Windows 98/ME release, but next version of Nero 7.5 lite will not support Windows 98/ME yet

I'm getting reports by Kaspersky 2006 that UniExtract.exe and ExttractMHT.exe matching Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Agent.axn signatures. As I found out, these files are UPX compressed. Unpacking these files does not solve the issue. May I ask why you put UPX compression in? It's totally unneccessary for this program, and it slows down my system as well.

I think it's an approvement to have your disks checked before usage of the system after ghost image creation. After all, you wouldn't like it if new written data got corrupt, cause of problems applying the ghost image.

I had trouble integrating patches in Paint Shop Pro X. However I managed to have it trimmed down to a 93 MB fully working installer. I will give some information on my website when I have time.

As I told already many times I put these stuff in cause it is functional. Otherwise just use the Windows XP internal burning software to burn your cds. I also offered the Micro edition which contains only Nero Burning Rom / Express, without removing functionallity. Mikka, remove links to warez please. I was thinking about these SetPoint drivers. Normally I hate to install them, however I see no solution to get horizontal scrolling with my Logitech MX400 mouse another way. I investigated the package, and as I only need extra mouse support I came to noother solution than to strip down the utility to the core. So I'm now working on creating an SetPoint Lite setup package approximately 3 MB in size. More will follow soon

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK Nero.exe Replace Offset (HEX) 1423FF : 7518 With Offset (HEX) 1423FF : 7418 I will include this hack in next version of Nero Lite (probably 7.5) to remove some old Nero 6 stuff from the executable, and to remove the Nero 7 splashscreen, which further reduces the Nero 7 installation footprint AND memory footprint.

Next step to trim down Nero 7 Lite filesize is by shrinking Nero 7 main executable. Thanks to a http://serenity.pixelarmy.org/nero.htm I was able to crack the Nero file protection mechanism I can't really strip down much resources from Nero. Only some legacy Nero 6 stuff which will shrink 3-4 MB's off. I'll post instructions howto circumvent the Nero 7 file protection mechanism tomorrow. Meaby someone else does know some more stuff that can get removed as well.

Have you tried NJStar Communicator? I used it on Windows XP to check correct working of Chinese and Japanese translations of Nero 7 Lite

It might be that Streamline.net has changed configuration. I have changed CHMOD for all files now, altough the problem still appears sometimes. Try refreshing the page a few times if you can't download. Nero 7 Lite has these days many downloaders. It's very popular now

Yes, I found it after pressing next. The bug does occur in official Nero Burning Express. About translations. I found just a small bug in Nero Lite. Adding Quicktime Movies to VCD/SVCD won't work with this version without adding NeQTDec.ax. I'll update it. @PgAse, I had some issues with language selection merging some languagepacks together. I solved it now. I'll update all languages tonight. As a bonus I'll make Nero 7 Micro multilangual too

Alex, I can't find that button on my system. As this is also a official Nero 7 problem I cannot provide a fix for it. Why dont you just leave that option for what it is now? P.S. I experience crashes in official Nero 7.2.7.0 and Nero 7.5.0.2 using Nero Vision Express. The program is not stable enough I think.

I can't imagine Windows 98 supporting Dual-core. You can't even properly dualboot any Windows 9x OS next to eachother (Windows 98 next to ME or 2 Windows 98 OS-installs).
