your psu is kinda small, im currently building a pc too, 3.0E Ghz im gonna put a 560w psu in it.. i would suggest u goto atleast 400-450w IMO (i kinda doubt this is your problem tho) is your xpcd modded at all?

r u talking about on your XPCD? if so, they'd be cabbed, search for Syssetup.dl_ & winnt32u.dl_ open them with an archive program such as winrar

yahoo messenger has always taken along time to install silently for me, litterally 5 mins .. & if i copy the Yahoo! directory in program files , i cannot launch yahoo messenger, is there a reg entry needed or something for it 2 work..

try removing IE with some program, (i dont know of any specifally, but i think "IEradicator" rings a bell) as with anything on here that removes core windows files, be ready 2 format if u mess up EDIT: http://www.litepc.com/ieradicator.html doesnt say it supports xp, so maybe it MIGHT work

how r u skinning IE? windows blinds? or have u hacked IE files? that maybe why try redownloading IE? have u used nlite?
