i think its a good idea.. personally i dont mind writing my xml out manually.. but others (as u have stated) are unable 2 grasp the concept/syntax of xml

@moo i dont think u understood what he meant by standalone, meaning they dont have 2 read/write 2 the registry 2 work but for me its: opera (everything is done via config files) xplode nlite (requires .net tho) adaware notepad2 nod32 (u can use just the .exe & the database 2 run "nod32.exe" )

i prefer INNO Setup with the GUI Plugin IsTool (Both are free)

its not vmware your things have errors in them, or possibly setup cannot find them.. make sure all paths are correct

actually.. adaware is REALLY EASY 2 repack.. since its basically only a .exe & a refrence file.. if u copy the lavasoft folder in program files 2 another place.. u can still run adaware successfully.. no need 2 change registry keys or anything (cuz none are added)

it WONT ask if u dont have any data on the disk.. if u buy a brand new hdd it goes right into install.... atleast mine does

hi.. just place it anywhere in your cd, example: $OEM$\$1\Install\MyPics\<place it here> then your start.cmd file should read start /wait %systemdrive%\Install\MyPics\mypictures.exe mypictures.exe is the sfx file u created, rename it if neccessary

/S works 4 me, thats how i install it.. do u run reg tweaks b4 your programs installation? if u do, just remove them for now & test that way
