i figured it out.. i reinstalled using an updated nlite lol on the server pc & it works thanks everyone for suggestions/help EDIT: *sigh* never mind, i still need help, i spoke too soon, it worked once lol i cant understand this, this is the ONLY thing i have problems with, all other things work good that use internet, realvnc,all my programs that have updates will update without a prob, its just shareaza

autoit, stardock doesnt include silent switches in ANY of there apps im aware of

@Tsunami yours doesnt work, i havent tested nakira's yet, but with yours it just erases the preset 1s any ideas how 2 fix it since i dont know vbs thanks EDIT: nakiras doesnt work either it adds the value "C:\\" so it doesnt register

yes, it connects to the networks (all) but i dont get results i ONLY get results from the pc thats directly connected 2 the net.. this is buggin me

what is the same thing? after modifype'ing the .dll file the name/icon doesnt change.. the only thing changed is the crc header which u cant see without resource hacking the file

best way would IMO be to check the status of it via registry.. do a read from reg i think the cmd is: set test REG READ key /v subkey /d value if %test% = 2 goto good ELSE goto BAD exit :net stop spooler 2 = auto 3 = manual 4 = disabled find the services reg key for spooler

i was gonna do that, but i thought.. during unattended install if you have a floppy or other recordable media in the pc, it would copy that file there, thus leaving u stranded

u need to "modifype" the file, download modifype or search the forums for it place modifype & winntbbu.dll in the same folder browse to that folder via cmd prompt.. next type modifype.exe winnbbu.dll -c

sure , why not what i would do if i were u.. on your cd, make a folder called "backup" or "extras" then add the files u want for backup in there, then just browse & replace them if needed

edit boot.ini (open the file in notepad) make sure its not "read only" delete the line make sure u know what 1 it is or u wont be able 2 boot to your good OS

this would be a problem for ryanvm, since i believe your using his customized setup thats for .net framework 1.1 & sp1

im not using a router, ive got 3 network cards in the server pc & 1 network card the cable modem is hooked too, the other 2 are going 2 me, ive got ICS (internet connection sharing) setup no firewalls right now @ all

nlite owns its the best

hey do u mean leave that box checked? or unchecked? also, i have shareaza setup now to store temp files on local pc, but send completed files to my server (which of course all computers can view from there)
