You should try this first - Install the camera software: http://www.olympusamerica.com/files/AutoConnDriv_Win98SE.exe Then connect the camera to ME Then if you still have a problem consult the auto-connect documentation located at: http://www.olympusamerica.com/files/autoUSB.pdf P.S. - I know that the driver says Win98, but ME is based off the same type of kernal and is the correct one for your operating system. Just is case you didnt know that already.

I think that this is correct, if u replaced the ntoskrnl.exe with a different one to change the boot screen, SP2 doesnt "really" use this file for this purpose anymore. It may use it to some extent but not like it did before SP2, thats why SP2 no longer displays the version (Home or Pro) that you are using, u may want to try to do it without replacing any of the system files until the system actually installs.

i got some too if anyone wants one, got about 40 left. . .

but im sure that you have a specially made CD for that purpose that would be a stripped down version of the one that you use on your system, thus only putting the necessities on there -

i have been installing SP2 since the it came out and the strange thing is that the build number on the desktop is Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158 (Service Pack 2), the thing that is throwing me off is the 2158, i thought that it was suppose to be around 2180?? Is this correct?? I attached a screen shot of the desktop build for viewing.
