  1. IMO, hardware and software manufacturers should support old operating systems as long as there is a demand for their hardware/software on the old OSes. They shouldn't just abandon them! Look at how many people still use Windows 98!
  2. ROFL!! Mine is #FF0000!
  3. Welcome back!
  4. Why would you want this? I have Tiger on my iBook and hardly use these features... I use the Dashboard to play Snake every once and a while!

  6. ROFL!!
  7. Well, now you know! Good luck to you if you apply!
  8. There is no minimum amount of posts you need to have. We do not encourage the raising of posts anyway... If xper feels like there is a member out there who is worthy of being a moderator/super moderator, then he will automatically make that member one. Us mods don't have the ability to make you or someone else one. However, if you feel that you've contributed quite a bit to the board, and you are ready to become a moderator, send xper a PM and he will promptly reply and give you a "Yes" or a "No"... Good luck!
  9. How long have you had your computer? One guess is that your CMOS battery might have run dry, causing the CMOS to clear itself... Anyone else?
  10. the it runs on battery (have a notebook of course) I would say to the theme: not to much programs running in the background (not much in the tray) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> In that case, hold the power button down until the computer shuts off (works on notebooks and desktops)! However, this is of course, NOT RECOMMENDED!! Why? Because you might accidentally fry something in your case.
  11. By posting USEFUL questions and answers to questions. However, if you've read the rules, we do not encourage the raising of post counts. If you have something useful to ask or say, then do so, if not, then don't ask or say anything!
  12. Few questions: Why would you remove FAT16 support? Wouldn't this mean incompatibility with FAT16 drives? Also, why would you put System Restore when many people don't even use it?
  13. Not to be rude or anything, but why would you want to even install Photoshop 3.0.5 on Windows 2000? I've actually had bad experiences installing very old software on newer operating systems. If you were installing it in XP, you'd be able to use the compatibility tab under the file's Properties to make it install properly... I can't remember if its in Windows 2000 as well....
  14. Its in the topic title, Windows 2003 Trial!
  15. You could start by posting in the right forum! No biggie, though... [ Topic moved. ]

  21. That took me so long to understand, lol!
  22. What version of Windows are you running?
  23. I always put the $OEM$ folder when using gosh's method parallel to the i386 folder... Never had a problem!
  24. Any included software from Linksys usually sucks... My guide should help you out: http://www.astromike.com/wireless.html
  25. Why doesn't he just move everything to a folder and press Shift+Delete? It will permanently whatever files are in the folder, including the folder...
