Figured I would post most of my application switches in here. I know alot of them have been covered already but I figured I would try to get them all in one post. I will continue editing this post and adding more apps as time allows. I did this pretty quick so if you notice a problem let me know and I will fix it. I make typing mistakes all the time that cause the whole unattended not to work. Trial and error.

use -r to record your installation and it should make a setup.iss in your Windows folder. Copy the setup.iss to your app installation folder and use "setup.exe -s"

I couldn't find a switch that works either. I tried contacting them but they never did answer. May have to repackage it with install rite or script it.

It is a NSIS installer I believe. Try /S

@Professor Frink I have a logitech MX300 and couldn't get Intellipoint to work with mine, Said something about conflicting or something. But it may work on yours.

If it is like the Lite versions it is /S

Try to find where the product key is kept , ie. registry. Maybe you can import it. Just a suggestion. I will see what I can dig up.

Yeah, Taskkill will not kill certain "protected" tasks. That is where pskill comes in.

From what I have read there is currently no silent switch for Install Creator Pro. Only if the person who compiled the .exe chose to make it silent to begin with. Will have to be repackaged or scripted with auto it or .vbs.

Not for sure this will work but I took out the condition that disallows \IP5_0ENG\IPoint\SETUP\IP5.msi to run independently by itself. So now you can just use the .msi with the /qn or /qb switch. I can't upload it here cause it's too big. If you want to give it a shot PM me and I will send it to you somehow.

AutoAdminLogon=1 i beleive, you need that to make it login without asking for password and it will make it always login that way.

To completely remove or hide the taskbar you have to modify the windows shell. There are small programs out there that will remove the task bar when ran. But brings it back when exited. Could download one of those and put in the registry to run on startup. As far as modifying the shell, it is a little more complicated.

Auto IT is a simple scripting language like VB that could handle this fairly easy. May be easier methods but just a suggestion.

The /SP- gets rid of the "are you sure" stuff. But the /VERYSILENT or /SILENT doesn't work. Must be the authors fault. Anyway, I couldn't figure out anything else either so I made a Auto it file that works. but would be alot easier to just use Install Rite and repackage it. Tried that also and it works fine.

adberdr60.exe -p"-s /v\"/qn\"" works fine for me. If you absolutely can't get it to work for some odd reason you can alway run the setup manually and let it extract the files to C:\WINDOWS\Cache\Adobe Reader 6.0.1\ENUMIN then use the .msi out of there with the /qb or /qn switch. Though it is almost twice as big as the original.

What version of pro tools you using?
