K-Lite codec packages
Well I had random issues with Klite while using it.So thats why I'm giving it up now.If the problems continue you should simply give Klite up and use another codec pack.Or use separate codecs instead.Or use ffdshow as I am as of today.

make a dvd iso from several cd isos
For me sometimes it worked others it didn't.It pretty much depends on what you want to put on a single DVD (programs, games). As for a program that could that I don't think there is one.I've searched in the past but could find anything. Hope this helps.

K-Lite codec packages
So if I got it right ffdshow and QT and Real Alternative should be enough for my needs. I might give your filter pack a shot in the near future when I update my CD. Thanks very much.

K-Lite codec packages
I've got a little question to you guys. I've been using KLite Mega codec pack for a few months because i needed to encode a lot of things. But know I'm done with encoding. So I would like to give up using Klite. Now I only need suport for mpe4,OGG,QT,Real Media(playback only).Would ffdshow and QT and Real Alternative be enough? Also for the ogg suport what should I install?

Hm... I've tested on my machine almost all of these AV but the best by far was (and still is) BitDefender.

What to choose: 1 GB or 1.5 GB RAM
Well I didn't know the dual channel would work with 2X256 and 2X512 modules installed. My mobo has 4 ram slots so that is not a problem. Thanks for the advice.

What to choose: 1 GB or 1.5 GB RAM

What to choose: 1 GB or 1.5 GB RAM
I want to buy some RAM(2X512 DDR 400 Kingmax) but i don't know what's best: to have 1 GB ram in dual channel OR 1.5 GB ram simple. I use this PC especialy for games. I have a Gigabyte 8IG1000 mobo and 2X256 DDR 400 Kingmax in dual chanel. Please give your advice on this matter.

new SATA drive instalation question
I bought a SATA dirve (Maxtor 160 gb 7200 8mb). My mobo is Giagbyte 8IG1000.I don't have RAID support. I dont have any drivers so I searched in my manual and found that i could mount my drive in remap mode so that it's seen as a normal ATA drive. Does this affect my performance and/or life of my drive? THX!

XP activation problems
If I remember corectly removing IE you won't be able to activate Windows. I think i've read this on this forum or in nlite when you choose what components to remove. You should rebuid your nlited cd without removing IE. Hope it helps.

Auto-Install Applications (running into problems)
Allmost all of the apps switches you need can be found on the forum. Just search(though it will be a long search ).

Apps not installing? folder wad deleted? huh?
If this keeps repating itself then you should try to install your software from the CD without copying it to your hard drive. But I think you'l have to use the RunOnceEx.cmd method. I do that and that and it works perfectly.
