same as advanced office 2003 installation on the website: setup /a to perform an admin install use custom installation wizard from the office toolkit to make a .mst transform (input serial, select which components to install ...) at the end of the wizard you'll be given the command line to execute

so: msiexec /i app.msi /qb INSTALLDIR=D:\app thanks a lot !

has anyone succeeded in silently installing MSDN Library? I've attempted to make a .mst transform for msdn.msi, but my tool couldn't simulate parameterized installation

hey all, I'm testing out an unattended installation of vs.net 2003 and have run into a problem: both 'start /wait' and 'runonceex' do not wait until setup is finished is there a program that pauses batch execution until a certain process (setup.exe) finishes is there another solution any help much appreciated

is there a switch with Windows Installer packages so one can specify the destination folder? as opposed to dumping everything in Program Files on the systemdrive? thanks
